BetaSocks (betasocks.com) is trading. On 27 September 2026 its list showed 1,800 SOCKS5 proxies online in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and Canada. It sells access as passes: $5 for 7 days, $7 for 15 days or $10 for 30 days, each with 50 IPs a day, or $20 for 30 days with 115 a day. It names no company and publishes no terms or refund policy. Its payment logos show crypto and e-wallets, not cards. If you want written rules, the alternatives table prices five sellers, read the same day.

What it sells
You add funds, buy a pass, and take proxies from its list. The pass sets how many you can take in 24 hours:

The note under the plans is short: "Each days allowance will not be added to the following day if not used." Nothing carries over when the pass ends. The page states no traffic limit and no rule on refunds.
The homepage says who it is for, in its own words: "anybody who work on Craigslist, Badoo, Locanto, PoF, Posting ads, Temporary Surveys, and so on". In 2016 the same line named Craigslist and Backpage.
The list, as it read on 27 September 2026
Each row shows a masked IP with its country, state, city, provider, ZIP code and uptime. Every row is marked "Auth", for a username and password.

The rows named 553 cities. The most common providers were Virgin Media (237), BT (158), Sky (128), Telstra (128) and Comcast (85). The shortest uptime was about an hour, and half had been online for more than 92 hours. Some 40 rows printed no country at all, and their regions lie elsewhere: Venezuela, Switzerland, Pakistan and Bangladesh among them.
How you use it
You pick a row and take it with the Get IP button, within your daily number. The guides link the SwitchyOmega extension for Chrome and Firefox. For SOCKS5 with a password, the site points to antidetect browsers such as AdsPower or GoLogin. A proxy works "as long its remain active", in its own words, so it lasts only while it stays online.
What we could not check
- Who runs it. No page names a company, an address or a country, and the domain record names only the registrar.
- Terms, refunds and privacy. Every usual address for them answers "404 Page Not Found".
- Where the IPs come from. The site does not say.
- Traffic limits. The plans count IPs, not gigabytes, and name no cap.
- Whether a listed proxy works. We did not buy a pass.
- Reviews. The Trustpilot page refused our server, and the Internet Archive holds no copy of it.
Where BetaSocks is stronger
- The price per IP. If you use the whole daily number, an IP costs under two cents.
- ZIP codes. Each row shows one, so you can pick a proxy by ZIP code. Our Premium pool, at $1.49 for one GB, targets by state, city and ISP, not by ZIP code.
- A long record. The prices on the site today are the prices of August 2016.
- You see before you take. The list shows the city, provider and uptime of each proxy first.

The two models suit different jobs. A pass suits someone who needs many short-lived IPs in four countries, and accepts rules nobody has written down. A per-GB balance suits steady traffic, and a static IP suits one account that should keep one address.

Which one to pick
- You need many short-lived IPs in the US, UK, Canada or Australia, at the lowest price per IP: BetaSocks fits, if you accept rules you cannot read. Start with the $5 pass.
- You want to pay per IP under written rules, with IPs that do not expire: 9Proxy, through its desktop app.
- You need one IP for weeks: a static one, such as our static ISP at $2.70/IP per month or Evomi static residential.
- You need state, city or ISP targeting paid by traffic: our Premium pool at $1.49 for one GB, or DataImpulse at its double rate.

We did not buy a BetaSocks pass, so nothing here measures its proxies. The counts come from its own list on 27 September 2026, and they change by the hour. It publishes no rules, so the plans and the list are all there is to read. This page is due for a check by 27 December 2026.
