Every proxy we track sits on somebody’s network. This index groups the whole database by who runs that network: the clouds, the hosting companies and the consumer ISPs, each with its own continuously re-verified list.

Why group free proxies by operator?
Because the operator is what the destination site actually reacts to. Two addresses on the same network share a reputation: a request from a hosting company’s range gets treated differently from one leaving a home ISP, whatever the individual address has or hasn’t done. Grouping the database this way lets you pick, or deliberately avoid, one company’s address space, and it collects operators that announce several networks onto a single page instead of splitting their record across per-ASN lists.
Where these numbers come from
HProxy runs its own checks against every address, around the clock, and keeps the result forever. The counts on this page are those measurements: how many addresses on each operator answered the most recent sweep, and how many have ever answered while we watched. Nothing here is copied from another list, so an operator’s page can tell you something no aggregator can: whether open proxies keep appearing on that network, or stopped months ago.

You can use HProxy's free proxy list, which needs no API key and no account.
GET https://hproxy.com/api/proxy-list?format=json returns the live pool as JSON. Useful query parameters: country (ISO alpha-2, e.g. de), protocol (http, https, socks4, socks5), anonymity (elite, anonymous, transparent) and limit. Add format=txt for plain ip:port lines instead.
Each proxy comes back with ip, port, protocols, anonymity, country_code, city, asn_org, latency_ms and uptime_24h. The pool is re-checked around the clock, so ask for it fresh rather than caching it.
