SOAX is trading, and it sells two things: residential and mobile proxies, both at one rate per gigabyte. That rate moves on two levers at once, your plan and the country of the exit IP. On 26 September 2026 a US gigabyte cost $5.00 on the free Sandbox plan and $3.00 on the $200 Builder plan. Since 1 June 2026 SOAX verifies identity before any purchase, and its prepaid credits expire after 60 days. The like-for-like prices are in the alternatives table.

It is a registered company with a public record. What deserves a careful read is how it charges.
SOAX pricing: the plan and the country both set the rate
Every paid plan is a monthly fee that buys the same number of credits, and SOAX says one credit is worth about $1 of usage. The fee buys a rate, not a fixed amount of data. Your traffic then burns credits at the rate of your plan and the geo tier of the exit IP.

Enterprise rates fall in volume bands within each tier and month. In tier 1 the first 5 TB costs $0.85 a GB, the next 10 TB $0.75, and anything beyond $0.50. In tier 3 the bands are $0.35, $0.30 and $0.25. So the lowest rate SOAX prints, $0.25, needs the $3,000 plan, 15 TB in one month and exit IPs in tier 3 countries. An annual Enterprise agreement can start at the lowest band, but it needs business verification and a 12-month commitment.
The pricing calculator on the same page shows a smaller case. For 100 GB through the United States it picks Builder: $300 in total, or $3.00 a gigabyte.
The fine print that decides the cost
Credits expire. Credits added on Sandbox or a monthly plan expire 60 days after they are added. On an annual plan they last 12 months. The terms add that expired credits "may not be recovered, reinstated, or refunded."
Usage stops at zero. Without postpaid billing, traffic stops when the credit balance runs out. Postpaid billing exists only for approved businesses.
Refunds are the exception. The pricing FAQ states that payments for plans, credits and overage "are generally non-refundable." If you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the period, "Unused time is not refunded", and the account drops to Sandbox. Credits already bought stay usable until they expire.
Identity comes first. Its KYC and KYB policy took effect on 1 June 2026. It says identity verification "is a condition of access to the paid Platform", completed before an organization can buy. SOAX may also check again later, for example after a change of payment method.
Payment is mostly cards. The pricing FAQ lists "most major credit and debit cards", and bank transfer for approved business accounts. Its billing policy adds that a payment provider may offer stablecoins. SOAX does not guarantee that option, and a crypto payment cannot be refunded to the paying wallet.
Traffic is counted generously. SOAX counts "data in both directions, including partial responses, retries, and interrupted connections." One gigabyte is one billion bytes. Its terms are governed by the law of England.
Targeting, sessions and protocols
Every plan targets by country, region, city and ISP name. Targeting by AS number and by ZIP code starts on the Scale plan, at $1,500 a month. The pool is claimed at "155+ million" residential IPs and "33+ Million" mobile IPs in 195+ locations. We did not measure either figure.
A SOAX session holds the same IP while requests keep coming, and it expires "after 60 seconds of inactivity". A timer can rotate the IP anywhere from every 10 seconds to once a week. Mobile sessions can hold an IP "for up to 60 minutes", by its mobile page. The proxies speak HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, and SOAX lists UDP and QUIC too. The Sandbox plan allows 4,000 concurrent connections per gateway.
SOAX customer support
Support is set by the plan, in a service level agreement that took effect on 1 June 2026. The free Sandbox plan gets basic support on "Reasonable efforts". Builder, Team and Scale get 24/7 support, and Enterprise adds a customer success manager.

Business hours run from 07:00 to 19:00 UTC, Monday to Friday. The agreement says the targets "measure acknowledgement of a support request, not time-to-resolution." Its site also offers a live chat. On Trustpilot, a capture of 2 March 2026 showed a TrustScore of 3.9 from 143 reviews: 127 gave five stars and 12 gave one.
Where the IPs come from
SOAX says its residential network "is built on real IP addresses voluntarily shared by individuals", and calls the pool ethically sourced. Its own figures differ by page: "155+ million" residential IPs on the product page, "more than 191 million IPs" on the about page. Its 2025 purchases added two businesses: ProxyWow, "a provider of dedicated, static US ISP proxies", and Rampage Proxies, a tool that managed several proxy providers in one place.

The fair comparison is a first gigabyte through the United States, the most common target, and the lowest rate each vendor prints. Every figure comes from the pricing page of each vendor, read on 26 September 2026.

HProxy Lite targets by country. Premium adds state, city and ISP targeting by AS number, from $1.49 per GB for a single gigabyte. Both are on our residential price table. The Bright Data page shows its prices rounded, and its price data holds $2.50 for the 798 GB plan. For residential zones opened after 7 July 2026, Bright Data also asks for a registered company, a company email and a KYC check by a person. Mobile deserves its own line, because SOAX charges it at the residential rate. Our mobile proxies cost $1.50 per GB, from 1 GB, with no plan. Rayobyte charges $1.25 a GB on a $250 monthly plan, and Evomi $3.98 pay as you go.
Where SOAX is the better buy
Mobile at the residential rate. Many vendors charge more for mobile traffic: Evomi, for one, charges $3.98 a GB for mobile against $0.99 for residential, pay as you go. SOAX charges the same rate for both, on every plan, including Sandbox. Our explainer on what a mobile proxy is covers when mobile is worth it.
Traffic outside the richest countries. Tier 3 traffic costs $2.00 a GB on Sandbox and $1.20 on Builder. If your targets sit in those countries, the geo tiers work in your favor.
Fine control. Region, city and ISP targeting come on every plan, ZIP codes from Scale. Timed rotation runs up to a week, and a session can be bound to one node. SOAX also lists UDP and QUIC.
A written support promise. SOAX publishes acknowledgement targets per severity and plan, with a named contact on Enterprise.
Where HProxy is the better fit
No identity check to start. SOAX verifies identity before the first purchase. Our KYC page states that we ask for no documents at sign-up or at an ordinary checkout, and ask when a payment looks wrong, when the law requires it, or in the other cases it lists.
Traffic that waits for you. SOAX credits expire after 60 days. Our residential balance never expires, with no plan and no fee to keep it alive.
ISP targeting at any size. SOAX targets AS numbers from the Scale plan at $1,500 a month. Our Premium pool targets an AS number together with a country, from the first gigabyte at $1.49 per GB. Our ISP targeting page lists the carriers.
Small budgets. A first US gigabyte costs $5.00 on the SOAX Sandbox plan, city and ISP name targeting included. Ours costs $0.50 per GB on Lite, which targets by country. Premium adds state, city and ISP targeting for $1.49 per GB. Both are pay as you go.
Room to change your mind. Our refund policy covers unspent balance and unrouted residential traffic for 14 days after purchase. SOAX states that payments are generally non-refundable.
Payment and products. We take cards, 32 crypto assets and networks, Alipay, Pix and more, listed on our payment options page. We also sell static ISP and datacenter proxies, which SOAX does not sell today.

Before you commit
Price your own country mix before you choose a SOAX plan, because the same $200 buys very different amounts of data in tier 1 and tier 3. Then run the same job through two providers and divide what you spent by the requests that came back correct. The limits of this record
We did not measure the SOAX network, so nothing here grades its speed or success rate. The pool sizes and the success rate it prints are its own claims.
SOAX rewrote its terms, billing policy, KYC policy and support agreement on 1 June 2026, and its rates have moved since August. The Trustpilot figures come from a capture of 2 March 2026, because the live page refused our request. This page is due for a check by 26 December 2026.
