RateProxy alternatives without a minimum spend

Comparing a RateProxy alternative? The published numbers, the questions their pricing page leaves open, and a ten minute test that beats every review.

Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Residential proxies

Nothing here is a hit piece. RateProxy has customers who are well served by it, and this page says which ones. It also says where we think the model costs a buyer money.

What we can and cannot tell you about RateProxy

The company behind the name sits at rateproxy.com. We carry them as a proxy provider.

What we do not hold is a current, sourced price for RateProxy. Rather than print a figure we cannot stand behind, this page leaves it out and tells you what to look for when you read their page yourself.

Look for the tier you would actually land in, not the one at the bottom of the table, and find the expiry and failed-request clauses before the rate impresses you.

What RateProxy says about itself today

Read 9 September 2026, the homepage titles itself "Buy Proxies, RateProxy". The one-paragraph pitch on their own page: "Ranking of proxy providers and shops where you can buy proxies. We made a convenient filter by goals, purpose, platform, and rental period."

The rest of what the page puts in writing:

The product lines named on that page are residential, ISP or static residential, mobile, SOCKS5 and IPv6. Payment methods mentioned: crypto. The page offers some form of free trial. Support is advertised as around the clock. We found no separate pricing page linked from the homepage, which usually means the price arrives by quotation.

That is the vendor speaking, not us. We print it because a claim with a date attached is at least falsifiable.

The domain record

The domain was registered on 3 June 2021, through Registrar of Domain Names REG.RU LLC, which makes it about 5 years old. That record was read from the registry on 9 September 2026. The registry shows it renewed to 3 June 2027.

Read that as a floor rather than a recommendation. Longevity says somebody has kept paying the registrar, and in a market with this much churn that is worth ten seconds of your attention.

Where published figures stop being useful

A pool total is not a promise

The number that matters is how many usable exits you can reach in the one country your job needs, this week. A pool total averages that away, which is why two providers with similar totals produce opposite results on the same site.

Money you paid for and did not spend

Expiry is the quietest price increase in this market. A plan sized for a busy month is expensive in a slow one, and the difference never appears in any comparison table, including ones written by vendors who benefit from it.

The rate behind the sales call

The lowest published rate in this market usually sits behind a monthly commitment measured in thousands. Quoting it beside a pay as you go rate is not a comparison. Compare the rate you can reach today.

A comparison that admits what it cannot say

The rows below are the ones that change what you pay and whether the job runs:

That comparison covers what is publishable. What is not publishable, and what actually decides this, is how many of your requests come back correct.

A test worth more than this comparison

Do this once and you will never need a comparison page for this decision again.

  1. Start with the smallest purchase each vendor allows, so the test costs less than the decision it replaces.
  2. Use your own scraper and your own target. A benchmark against a neutral site measures nothing you will experience.
  3. Count how many requests returned what you wanted, and how much bandwidth each side spent doing it.
  4. Spot-check the exits. Confirm they are in the country you paid for and the connection type you were sold.
  5. Keep whichever pool won on your job. Re-run this whenever success rate drops or the bill moves.

Nearest alternatives by product shape rather than by who pays us, since nobody does:

Where HProxy sits in that test

We sell residential proxies from $0.44 per GB with no subscription and a balance that does not expire, plus ISP, mobile and datacenter in the same account. That is the pitch, and the test above is a better judge of it than this paragraph.

Frequently asked questions

How do I compare two providers fairly?
Match the units first, because residential is billed per gigabyte, datacenter and ISP per address, and mobile per day or per port. Then compare the rate you can actually reach today rather than the volume tier behind a commitment. Finish by measuring the success rate on your own target, since a cheap request that fails costs more than a dearer one that works.
How is HProxy different?
The models differ more than the products do. HProxy is pay as you go from a balance you top up when you want, the balance does not expire, there is no subscription unless the optional discount suits you, and residential starts at $0.44 per GB with city and ISP targeting included. Whether that beats a tiered plan depends on your usage pattern, which a short test settles.
Do I have to talk to sales or sign a contract to switch?
Not with us. You can sign up, add funds and send traffic without a call, a minimum or a subscription. Whether another provider requires any of those is on their own pricing page and is worth reading, because a required commitment is part of the price even when it is not part of the rate.
How often should I re-test a provider?
Quarterly is a reasonable rhythm for most workloads, and immediately after a noticeable drop in success rate. Pools are rebuilt, suppliers change and detection improves, so a benchmark from last year describes a network that no longer exists.
Does a bigger pool mean better results?
No. Your job meets only the exits it draws, in the countries it needs, against one target's defences. Freshness and rotation policy move the outcome far more than the headline total, and pool totals across this market are counted generously and rarely audited.

Proxies that don't die mid-job

Residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile, verified by the same engine that runs tens of millions of checks. They read as a real device and hold up under load. Pay as you go, and your balance never expires. $0.44/GB is the 2,000 GB+ rate; a single gigabyte is $0.50/GB, with no minimum order.
