A proxy provider comparison is only as good as its dates. Prices, pools and policies all move, so every number below carries the day it was read, and anything we could not read is marked as unverified rather than filled in.
What is on file for DoubleData
You will find them at doubledata.com.
There is no price in this comparison because we do not have one we can date and attribute. What follows instead is the set of questions that decide the cost once you do read their page.
Take down four numbers and a date: reachable rate, minimum purchase, commitment for the floor rate, and expiry period. Anything less and you cannot compare them to anyone.
Their own description, read this week
Their homepage title, read on 9 September 2026: "DoubleData - Know your competitors and market with data". The blurb under their search result reads: "Top-performing retailers and brands use DoubleData's pricing data, trends and insights to make smart decisions and increase revenues every second."
Taken from the same page, on the same day:
The product lines named on that page are residential, datacenter, ISP or static residential, mobile and a scraping or SERP API. Their pricing page is titled "Residential proxies, DoubleData".
Nothing there has been tested. It is a record of what the page said on the day, which is the honest limit of what a page like this can offer without a measurement.
How far back the record goes
The domain was registered on 4 March 2002, through GoDaddy.com, LLC, which makes it about 24 years old. Checked against the registry on 9 September 2026. The registration currently runs to 4 March 2027.
This proves nothing about the product. It is a cheap check against the one failure mode that costs buyers real money in this market, which is paying a provider that will not exist in six months.
What DoubleData publishes
A crawl of 1.099 pages returned 226 blog pages, 5 pricing pages, 1 location page and 168 use-case pages.
The number is not a compliment or a criticism. It describes how much of their effort goes into being found, which is worth knowing when you are weighing a marketing claim against a measurement.
How active DoubleData still is
Our crawl of their site found 1,099 pages carrying a date, 226 of them articles. The oldest is from August 2025 and the newest from August 2026. 1,093 of them carry a date inside the last twelve months.
Read that as a liveness check rather than a review. It says the lights are on, and nothing about whether the proxies work on your target.
What a pricing page leaves out
Why the pool number is the least useful figure
The number that matters is how many usable exits you can reach in the one country your job needs, this week. A pool total averages that away, which is why two providers with similar totals produce opposite results on the same site.
What the starting rate leaves out
A starting rate is a marketing number. What you pay depends on the tier your volume lands in, the minimum purchase, and what happens to traffic you bought and did not use. An expiring balance quietly raises the price of every unit you did consume.
Concurrency limits decide throughput
Bandwidth is rarely the constraint on a real workload. Concurrent connections, requests per second and per-session caps are, and they are frequently buried in the documentation rather than the pricing page.
The rows that decide it
Six questions, both answers, and an honest blank where we do not hold a current figure:
| Question to ask | DoubleData | HProxy |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Not verified by us, read their page | From $0.44/GB, pay as you go |
| Does unused balance expire? | Their terms page answers this | Never |
| Minimum commitment | On their own terms page | None |
| Identity checks | Not published clearly, ask before paying | Card orders are screened, and verification is sometimes requested |
| Targeting | Worth confirming in writing before you commit | Country, city and ISP |
| Free way to evaluate | Read their current terms | Free proxy list and proxy checker |
Read the table as a list of questions rather than a scoreboard. The answers on their side move, and the row that decides the outcome, success rate on your target, is not printable by anyone.
What to do instead of reading more comparisons
The steps below take about ten minutes and settle the question properly.
- Put a few dollars on each account. Trials are fine for a first look, but paid traffic is what you will actually be buying.
- Run them against the site you actually care about, using the code you actually run, within the same hour.
- Record the success rate and the data consumed for the identical batch on each side.
- Check some of the addresses yourself for country, ASN and type before you trust the label on the plan.
- Keep the winner, and repeat the whole thing quarterly, because pools age.

We hold the same record for these, and the same honest limits apply to each:

What we sell, stated plainly
Our position is narrow. Residential from $0.44 per GB, no subscription, no expiry on the balance, and a public record of what our free network actually does. A provider unwilling to be measured is telling you something, and so is one that asks to be.
