Privbrowser is gone. This page sets out what the public record actually shows about when and how, what the site looked like while it traded, and what a customer left holding an account should do now.
The date it stopped
Three requests on 9 September 2026, https, www and http, all failed with ENOTFOUND. There is no server left behind that name.
The Internet Archive holds 5 working captures, the last in January 2021. After that the crawler found nothing worth keeping, which is the closest thing to a date of death the record offers.
The site, in its own words
As of its last working snapshot in January 2021, the title read "privbrowser.info".
A third party kept that, which is why it is quotable. It records what was being claimed, and says nothing about whether the claims held up.
What it looked like while it traded
The archive first captured a working page in May 2020.
None of it is a verdict on quality. It is the shape of a business that existed, which is worth establishing before anything else, because this market also contains names that never traded at all.
The honest limit here: we can show you the ending and not the reason for it. Anyone publishing a confident explanation of a small provider's shutdown is usually repeating a forum rumour, and we would rather leave the gap visible.

The honest replacement
