Proxies for Wish meet a lighter door than most of retail, on a marketplace built for volume and price. On 24 August 2026 we sent wish.com a plain request from a home connection and from a datacenter server, and both loaded the site, HTTP 200, behind Cloudflare with Forter present and a set of visitor cookies. No hard bot wall on the homepage, which makes Wish more approachable than a defended retailer, but the geography and the marketplace structure still shape the setup.
Wish is a global budget marketplace of largely direct-from-seller goods, and its data is per-listing prices and shipping that localize by country across an enormous feed. That makes the proxy job a geo-accurate, high-volume read behind a light Cloudflare door, in the same family as Temu and AliExpress.
What proxies work best for Wish?
Residential proxies exiting in the country you read for sustained work, with datacenter usable for light reads. A static ISP proxy for a logged-in account. Cloudflare can escalate under load, so residential is the durable choice.
The door is light, but not absent
Wish loaded for a bare client from both IPs, so the front door is gentler than an Akamai or DataDome retailer. But Cloudflare is present and scores reputation and the TLS fingerprint, so it can escalate to a challenge under sustained load even when it does not block a first request (how to scrape past Cloudflare, what is JA3/JA4 fingerprinting), and Forter scores orders at checkout. The honest read is that Wish is approachable for light work and still rewards residential exits and a browser once volume rises, the same way DSW and TCGplayer do.
Geography and the seller feed
Two things shape the data. Wish localizes price, currency and shipping by country, so a country's real landed price, including shipping, comes only from an exit in that country, and cross-country monitoring runs one residential pool per market (geo-testing with proxies confirms the exit). And Wish is a marketplace of many independent sellers, so a category is a large feed of individual listings at many prices, which makes the useful data listing-level and high-volume, the point where spreading reads across a residential pool keeps one IP from carrying a monitor's signature.

Setup
For light reads, a modest rate from one IP is enough. For geo-accurate or volume work, exit from residential in the country you price, spread the reads, and record the country and shipping with every listing. A browser is worth using once Cloudflare might escalate; for light reads a well-behaved HTTP client keeps bandwidth low (proxies for Playwright for the browser path).

Size from request rate and country: one pool per market, and within each, find how fast one IP reads before Cloudflare escalates. Volume across a big feed is the cost driver. Staying unblocked
- Do not over-buy for a light job. A gentle door means light reads need little.
- Match the exit to the market. Landed price and shipping localize by country.
- Spread volume across a pool. One IP on a huge feed is what draws escalation.
- Capture shipping with the price. On a budget marketplace, shipping is much of the landed cost.
- Watch for Cloudflare escalation under load. Slow down or widen the pool. The general list is in avoiding IP bans while scraping.
What a proxy does not do here
A proxy spreads a large job and lands you in the right country. It does not need to defeat a hard wall today, and it does not compute the landed cost without the shipping, which you capture alongside the price.
