Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Proxies for New World run into a rule the game states plainly: you can move a character between worlds, but only inside your own region, and cross-region transfers are not offered. That single fact answers most of the region questions people bring to a New World proxy, because the thing they usually want, hopping their character to another region, is not something the game permits and therefore not something a proxy can arrange. What a proxy does touch is the account and the web side, and this page is clear about that boundary.

New World: Aeternum is an Amazon-published MMO with paid and occasionally free transfer tokens, Easy Anti-Cheat, and login queues on busy worlds, and those facts set what a proxy can and cannot do. The page covers the region-locked transfers, the queue reality, how Easy Anti-Cheat fits, the account-side uses, and which type fits.

What proxies are best for New World?

For keeping several accounts off a shared address and reaching the Amazon Games account or Steam on a network that blocks them, residential proxies pinned to your country and held sticky, or an ISP proxy (static residential) for an account you play daily. Datacenter only for the blocked-network case. No proxy type makes a cross-region transfer the game does not allow, shortens an arrival-based queue, or beats Easy Anti-Cheat, and the match itself is not a proxy job. A proxy works on the account and web side.

Transfers stay inside a region, and a proxy cannot change that

New World lets you move a character between worlds using a character transfer token, which Amazon has given out free around launches and major updates and otherwise sells in the in-game store. The rule that matters here is the boundary on those transfers: they move a character between worlds within the same region, and you cannot transfer to worlds in other regions of the world. That is a design rule of the transfer system, enforced by the game, and it has nothing to do with the address you connect from.

So a proxy cannot help with the most-searched New World region wish, because there is no cross-region path for it to grease. Appearing to connect from another region does not unlock a transfer the game does not offer, and it does not change which worlds your character can move between. The region a character lives in is set by where it was made and bounded by the transfer rules, not by your IP, and a proxy leaves both untouched.

Why a proxy cannot move a New World character across regions
  1. Transfer token

    moves a character between worlds

  2. Same-region only

    no cross-region transfer offered

  3. A proxy

changes the IP, not the transfer rule

  4. Region stays

set at creation, bounded by transfers

Queues, and why a proxy does not shorten them

Busy New World worlds hold new logins in a queue, and "proxy to skip the New World queue" is a common and mistaken search. A queue is a world rationing entry, and your place in it is by arrival, not by your address, so a proxy cannot move you up. The real fix Amazon points to is a transfer to a less crowded world in your region, which is exactly why it hands out transfer tokens around launches. A proxy changes your apparent location and nothing about a world's population, so it has no effect on a queue.

Easy Anti-Cheat and the account

New World runs Easy Anti-Cheat, and players sometimes meet its connection error reporting suspicious software or a corrupted install. Easy Anti-Cheat reads the machine and Amazon bans the account, so, as with every anti-cheat, a proxy does nothing about a ban, which follows the account and the hardware rather than the IP.

What a proxy does touch is ordinary account work. Keeping more than one account, an Amazon Games or Steam login, off a single shared address, so a flag on one does not reach the rest, and reaching the account or Steam on a school or office network that blocks them. The Steam side of an MMO like this, sign-ins and Steam Guard, is covered in proxies for Steam, and the account-consistency logic is the same one that runs through proxies for World of Warcraft.

Why people use proxies for New World

  • Keeping accounts separate. More than one account off a shared address, on the web side.
  • Reaching the account on a blocked network. A dorm or office block on the Amazon Games account or Steam, tunnelled through on the web side. This one a free proxy handles.
  • Consistency for an account. An account that signs in from the same country every day looks like its owner.
  • Cross-region transfers, shorter queues, lower ping, or beating Easy Anti-Cheat, none of which a proxy does. Transfers are same-region, queues are by arrival, the match adds a hop, and the anti-cheat reads the machine.

Which proxy type fits New World

Residential proxies are home-ISP addresses, pinned to your country and held sticky, so a sign-in reads as an ordinary player. Unfamiliar with the type? What is a residential proxy covers the sourcing.

ISP proxies are static residential lines, one fixed address for an account you play daily.

Datacenter proxies sit on ranges a sign-in distrusts, so they belong to the blocked-network case alone.

Mobile proxies ride 4G and 5G carriers and rarely earn their cost in this game.

How to set it up

The account side is a browser job; the game is not a proxy job. Set a sticky residential or ISP proxy in a browser for account work and sign-ins, one profile per account, matched to your country; our FoxyProxy guide covers the quick route and antidetect browser proxy setup covers several accounts. Verify any exit first with the proxy checker.

Account side (one sticky IP per account, in your country):
  main            ->  ISP, held
second account -> residential sticky, held

Transfers stay same-region; a proxy does not change that.

How many IPs, sticky versus rotating

One sticky address per account, in your country, held indefinitely; there is no throughput or rotation case, because the match never rides a proxy and transfers are the game's rule. New World's account traffic is small, so the cost sits in addresses, not data, and our pricing is pay-as-you-go with a balance that does not expire.

Free versus paid for New World

A free proxy can get the Amazon Games account or Steam through a locked-down network, and a dead entry is no loss. The free proxy list re-checks itself every few minutes across 100+ countries, and the proxy checker confirms a live exit before you rely on it. Never sign into an account through a free proxy: it is a datacenter address that draws scrutiny, dies within minutes, and passes your login through an operator you do not know; the mechanism is in are free proxies safe. Paid residential at $0.44/GB pay-as-you-go with no KYC covers account work, and ISP addresses at $2.70/IP suit an account you keep.

Where a proxy stops and Amazon starts

On New World a proxy works on the account and web side: it keeps accounts off a shared address, reaches the account on a blocked network, and keeps a sign-in consistent. It does not move a character across regions, because transfers are same-region by rule; it does not shorten a queue, which is by arrival; it does not lower ping; and it does not beat Easy Anti-Cheat or lift a ban, which read the machine and the account. The region wish that brings most people here is answered by the game's own rules, not by an IP.

For reaching the account on a blocked network, start free with the free proxy list and the proxy checker. For the accounts you keep, one ISP address each, or clean residential at $0.44/GB pay-as-you-go held sticky, is what holds. Play your region's worlds, use a transfer token for a crowded one, and keep each account on its own address.

Frequently asked questions

Can a proxy move my New World character to another region?
No. Amazon's character transfer tokens move a character between worlds inside the same region, and transfers across regions are not offered at all. That is a rule of the transfer system, not a read of your IP, so a proxy cannot make a cross-region transfer that the game does not allow. A proxy changes the address Amazon's account and store see, not which region your character can move within.
Does a proxy help with New World queues?
Not directly. A login queue is a busy world rationing entry by arrival, not by your address, so a proxy cannot shorten it. The real answer to a bad queue is a paid or free transfer token to a less crowded world in your region, which Amazon has offered around launches and updates. A proxy changes where you appear to connect from, which does nothing about how full a world is.
Will a proxy get me past Easy Anti-Cheat or a ban?
No. New World runs Easy Anti-Cheat, which reads the machine and can flag a suspicious or corrupted install, and Amazon bans the account. Neither judges your IP, so a different address does nothing for a banned account, and evading a ban breaks the terms. A proxy keeps clean accounts separate and reaches the account on a blocked network; it is not a tool for a banned one.
What proxy type fits New World?
For account separation and reaching the Amazon Games account or Steam on a blocked network, residential proxies pinned to your country and held sticky, or an ISP proxy (static residential) for an account you play daily. Datacenter only for the blocked-network case. The transfer rules are the game's, not the proxy's, and the match is not a proxy job.
Do I need a proxy to play New World from another country?
For the game, no. You play on your region's worlds, and playing from abroad is about latency, not permission. A proxy adds a hop, so it does not lower ping, and Easy Anti-Cheat plus the account do the gatekeeping regardless of your IP. A proxy only matters if a network blocks the Amazon Games account or Steam, in which case it tunnels that web traffic.
