PlainProxies (plainproxies.com) is trading, and a German company runs it: 3xK Tech GmbH in Schorfheide. On 6 October 2026 its smallest residential pack cost €11.50 for 5 GB, or €2.30 a GB, valid for 30 days. The €0.55 a GB on its homepage needs 5,000 GB bought at once. Every residential order also needs an ID check first. The alternatives table prices five other sellers on the same day.

Who runs PlainProxies
Its imprint names 3xK Tech GmbH, Altenhofer Weg 21, 16244 Schorfheide, Germany. The company sits in the commercial register of the Frankfurt (Oder) court under HRB 18693. Its VAT number, DE344070238, was valid when we checked it in the EU VIES service on 6 October 2026. The terms follow German law, and the German text is the binding one.
One detail does not match. The structured data on every page gives the company's country as the United States, and its founding year as 2023. The imprint is the legal record, so we go by it.
HProxy is German too. Obsidian UG (haftungsbeschränkt) runs it from Herford, under HRB 20982 at the Bad Oeynhausen court, as our imprint shows. Both companies answer to German and EU law, so that is no difference. The real differences are the price, the expiry and the ID check.
Where its proxies come from
Its documentation says the residential IPs are "collected through our SDK". It does not name the apps that carry that code. Its terms also let other sellers offer proxies on the site. For those offers, it takes no liability for where the IPs really sit or for their speed. It also takes none for "the legal admissibility of IP acquisition by the third-party provider". We could not see which offers, if any, come from other sellers.
What PlainProxies sells, and what it costs
It sells five products. The prices below are its own, read on 6 October 2026, in euros.

Every residential plan includes country, state and city targeting, and its docs add ASN targeting. Datacenter, ISP and IPv6 proxies target by country only. Residential plans take HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5.
The €0.55 headline, priced in full
The price of one GB depends on the pack size and on how long the traffic stays valid. Every cell below comes from its residential page, in euros per GB.

The €0.55 rate means €2,750 paid at once, for traffic used within 30 days. The smallest pack that never expires costs €2.80 a GB. At the European Central Bank rate of 5 October 2026, €2.30 is about $2.58, and €0.55 is about $0.62.
Our model is simpler. A GB costs the same whether you use it this week or next year, because the balance never expires. Lite costs $0.50 for one GB, with country targeting. Premium adds state, city and ISP targeting, at $1.49 for one GB. Both are on our residential price table.
Unlimited residential: what a day really buys
Unlimited plans are billed by speed, not by traffic. Its docs call the speed limit "the only enforced limitation". A line is cheap per GB only while it stays busy.

The last three columns are our own arithmetic. Speed times 86,400 seconds, divided by eight bits, gives the most a line can move in a day. Your logs, not the price page, tell you how busy your line will be. On 6 October 2026 the page showed every unlimited plan at 30 percent off, marked limited time.
The rules that decide the bill
- An ID check comes first. Residential and unlimited residential need identity verification through iDenfy before checkout. An individual can start it only after spending €10 on other products. Datacenter, ISP and IPv6 need no check.
- Some sites stay closed. Its docs block .gov domains, banks, payment services and every port except 80 and 443. Mail ports and .gov sites open only after a manual review, and banking sites never do.
- Refunds are narrow. Only card payments are refunded, within 48 hours, and only if under 500 MB was used. Crypto through CoinGate and local methods through Payssion are never refunded. Consumers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal, and pay a share for any service already used.
- Sticky sessions vary. A session can be set to last up to 24 hours. Its docs add that a residential IP "typically" stays online for 4 to 12 hours.
- ISP proxies sit in one country. The ISP page says 15 countries, but its docs say the United States only, on the RCN (Astound Broadband) network.
- Payments. Cards and PayPal go through Paddle, crypto through CoinGate, and local methods through Payssion. There are no automatic renewals.
- The proxy API is for resellers. Its FAQ keeps API access for proxy management to reseller partners.
Where its own pages disagree
Several numbers change from one page of the site to the next. We list them so you know which number to check before you pay.

None of this proves the network is weak. It means the checkout price, not the headline, is the number to trust.
Where did the PlainProxies web proxy go?
From February 2023 the site ran a free web proxy at plainproxies.com/resources/free-web-proxy. Its page read: "Simple and free web proxy, simply enter the url you want to browse". In February 2025 an archived visit found that address forwarding to proxypal.net. On 6 October 2026 it forwarded to proxykuy.com instead. Both sites say they are "Powered by PlainProxies". Its old free proxy list and proxy tester pages answered 404 the same day.

What customers report
Its pages show "Excellent 4.3 on Trustpilot". The latest Trustpilot page we could read, archived on 13 April 2026, showed 3.8 from 31 reviews. In March 2026 it showed 3.5 from 24. Reviews on other sites still quote about 3.5. The live page refused our server on 6 October 2026, so we hold no newer score. We have not tested its network ourselves.
Where PlainProxies is the stronger choice
- A line that runs all day. It sells unlimited residential by speed. HProxy sells residential by the GB only.
- Large volume, used fast. At 5,000 GB used within 30 days, €0.55 a GB (about $0.62) includes city, state and ASN targeting. Our Premium pool, with the same kind of targeting, costs $1.00 per GB at 1,000 GB+.
- Bulk datacenter and IPv6. Its default datacenter bundle is 1,000 IPs and 1 TB for €27 a month. IPv6 traffic falls to €0.05 a GB on the 10 TB pack, with no expiry.

Which one to pick
- You need a city, a state or one carrier, in small amounts. Its packs include that targeting from €2.30 a GB, valid 30 days. Our Premium pool charges $1.49 for one GB, and it never expires. The carriers on offer are on our ISP targeting page.
- You only need a country. Our Lite pool, at $0.50 for one GB, has the lowest pay-as-you-go price on this page.
- You keep a line busy all day. Its unlimited plans are built for that.
- You would rather not upload an ID for an ordinary order. We ask for none at an ordinary checkout. It asks for one before any residential order.
- You pay with QRIS. Our checkout takes it, from an Indonesian bank app or e-wallet.
- You came for the free web proxy. It now lives on proxykuy.com, a separate site.

The limits of this record
We did not buy PlainProxies proxies, so nothing here measures its network. The pool sizes and the SDK sourcing are its own statements. We could not see which offers, if any, come from other sellers under its terms. The Trustpilot figure is from April 2026, and dollar amounts use the euro rate of 5 October 2026. Prices, the 30 percent discount and the KYC rules change fast. This page is due for a check by 6 January 2027.
