On 9 September 2026 the name resolved to nothing usable (UND_ERR_CONNECT_TIMEOUT). Three attempts, two protocols, no response.

How it described itself

In February 2014, the last month the archive caught it working, the homepage was titled "www.awebproxy.org - Free Anonymous USA Proxy Youtube". The heading on the page was "www.awebproxy.org". For search engines it described itself as: "Free USA proxy for Youtube. Click here to watch now!..."

The company is describing itself there, preserved by a third party. It is the closest a reader gets to seeing what they signed up for. Marketing, not evidence of quality, but nobody can quietly revise it now.

So the business existed and had a product. Whether it was any good is not something the record can settle.

Registration goes back to 16 November 2013, with NameCheap, Inc. as registrar. So the domain has existed for some 12 years. Registration runs to 16 November 2026. Somebody is still paying for a name that serves nothing. Those dates come from a registry lookup on 9 September 2026.
