The useful thing to know about Cherryproxy is not why it ended, which nobody outside the company can honestly tell you, but when it stopped and what you should do about the money or the traffic you had with it.

We tried three routes to it on 9 September 2026 and all three failed (ENOTFOUND). Nothing is listening.
Of 20 archived captures that actually loaded, the newest is January 2026. That is where the trail ends.
What it said about itself at the end
The last working capture is from January 2026. Its title read "The Most Cost-Effective IP Proxy Provider-Cherry Proxy". The banner line read "Economically efficient high-purity". The description it gave search engines said: "Cherry Proxy has high-quality global residential proxy IP resources, which are more concealed, safer, and faster."
Archived marketing is still marketing. What makes it worth quoting is that it cannot be edited after the fact, so it is a fixed record of the promise being made at the time.
What it looked like while it traded
The archive first captured a working page in February 2017.
None of it is a verdict on quality. It is the shape of a business that existed, which is worth establishing before anything else, because this market also contains names that never traded at all.
The domain, on paper
Public registry data puts the registration at 8 October 2023, through NameCheap, Inc.. The name is roughly 2 years old. The registration lasts until 8 October 2026. Held, but unused. Registry query dated 23 April 2026.
The honest limit here: we can show you the ending and not the reason for it. Anyone publishing a confident explanation of a small provider's shutdown is usually repeating a forum rumour, and we would rather leave the gap visible.

What to use instead
For anyone with an unused balance: check whether your payment still falls inside your card scheme's dispute window. Keep the receipts and any support thread. Once a provider stops answering, that is usually the only route left.
