Meijuwa no longer answers. We re-checked it the day this page was written, over three routes, and nothing came back. The record of the years before that is below.

When the lights went out

Three requests on 9 September 2026, https, www and http, all failed with ENOTFOUND. There is no server left behind that name.

Wayback has it working until August 2018 and not after, across 8 captures. Treat that month as approximate.

The final archived page

The last working capture is from August 2018. Its title read "www.meijuwa.com Glype® proxy".

A third party kept that, which is why it is quotable. It records what was being claimed, and says nothing about whether the claims held up.

What they sold

The archive first captured a working page in October 2017.

The public record holds that much. It shows a company that was real and shipping, and nothing about how well.

We stop short of a cause deliberately. The registration and archive trail shows when things stopped and nothing about why, and the difference between those two claims is the difference between a fact and a defamation.

Is Meijuwa really gone?
We re-checked the domain on 9 September 2026 over https, www and plain http. Nothing answered on any of them. That is evidence of a shutdown rather than proof of one, and it is the strongest evidence the public web offers.
What happened to Meijuwa?
We do not know, and we will not guess in public. The record shows when the site stopped being captured and that it no longer answers. It says nothing about the reason, and every confident explanation of a small provider's shutdown that we have read traces back to a forum rumour.
What should I use instead of Meijuwa?
Start from a list that shows when each entry was last verified. Ours is re-checked every few minutes. Whatever you use, open the target site through it once before you rely on it, because a free proxy that worked this morning may be blocked by lunchtime.
