Storm Proxies (stormproxies.com) rents rotating residential and datacenter proxies by the port or the thread, and private datacenter addresses by the month, all with unlimited bandwidth and over HTTP(S) only. A residential port has cost $19 a month since 2017, while the residential pool it claims grew from 40,000 addresses to more than 20 million. About 1,600 people a month search Google for the name, down from 1,900 a year earlier. Below are its plans and rules, its record, what five other pages say and the alternatives.

A residential port draws on the residential pool and gives a new address every 5 minutes, from the USA or the EU. Each package works from one authorised computer, by IP authentication only. Datacenter rotating plans change the address on every request or every 3 or 15 minutes, from a pool the site puts at 700,000+ in the USA, the EU, both or worldwide. The 80, 150 and 200-thread plans allow two, three and five computers. Dedicated proxies come from three US locations with 100 concurrent threads and accept IP or username and password authentication. They cost $2 each in packs of 5 to 30, $1.80 at 50 and $1.60 at 100 and 200. The 400 pack shows $640 a month beside the words "$1.4 per proxy"; $640 for 400 comes to $1.60 each. Paying 6 months ahead gives one month free.
The FAQ says Storm Proxies sells HTTP(S) proxies only. The refund covers the smallest package of each type, within 24 hours, for a first order only. The terms apply the laws of the State of New York and name no company; the domain was registered on 25 December 2014. Affiliates earn 25% of every payment for as long as the customer stays.
Its own pages name the uses it builds for. The datacenter page points "Scrapebox, GSA SER, SEnuke, RankerX, or any custom bot" at its gateway, and the home page lists "traffic bots, bulk account registration" and ticket and sneaker sites. The home page also says: "We don't resell proxies. We own them."

The 1-port plan cost $19 and the 50-port plan $300 in every copy. The address changed every 3 minutes in 2017 and every 5 minutes from 2020. The datacenter rotating pool went from 70,000 in 2016 and 2020 to 200,000 in 2023 and 700,000+ today, with the same $14 to $147 thread plans throughout. The page that now claims "20+ Mil" residential addresses sells them at the same $50 for 5 ports as the page that claimed 40,000.
Two things did change. Between the November 2016 and February 2023 copies of the dedicated page, 30 proxies went from $48 to $60, 100 from $140 to $160, 200 from $240 to $320 and 400 from $400 to $640; packs of 5, 10, 20 and 50 stayed at $10, $20, $40 and $90. The refund rule narrowed too. The 2016 and 2020 datacenter pages offered a "48 hours money back guarantee" on all plans. By 2023 the refund covered only the smallest package of each type, for 24 hours.
What other pages say about Storm Proxies
- Proxyway's review (August 2023, updated November 2023) says "the smallest rotating residential proxy plan starts from $14". The $14 plan is the 10-thread plan that Storm Proxies now lists as datacenter rotating; its residential ports start at $19.
- Proxyway's list of alternatives (2021, updated July 2025) sends readers to Decodo for a larger pool and city and ZIP targeting. It shows no Storm Proxies prices.
- Pixelscan (September 2025, updated January 2026) calls Storm Proxies "Fewer features, smaller pool, but among the cheapest". Since February 2026 the residential page claims 20+ million addresses.
- NaProxy says Storm Proxies offers "residential, datacenter, and mobile proxies". Its plan pages list no mobile proxies, and NaProxy's list of alternatives still names Luminati and Smartproxy, the old names of Bright Data and Decodo.
- Proxy-Cheap's list of unlimited proxies (29 April 2026) mentions "the clunky dashboards of older providers like Storm Proxies" and gives no prices.
The alternatives
A port model suits steady work from one machine in the USA or the EU; per-GB traffic suits bursts, many machines, and city or country targeting. For fixed addresses, 10 private proxies cost $20 a month at Storm Proxies, $8.80 at NewIPNow, $14.20 at Proxy-Cheap, $15 at Proxy6 and $17.70 at ProxyLine on 12 October 2026. Where HProxy fits
We sell residential traffic by the gigabyte from $0.44 per GB, and Premium with city and ISP targeting and sticky sessions of up to 24 hours from $1.00 per GB; that traffic does not expire. Our datacenter addresses cost $1.58 per IP a month, with HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 on every proxy.
Which one to pick
- Storm Proxies for unlimited residential traffic on one machine, USA or EU, at $19 a port, or cheap rotating datacenter threads for SEO tools.
- DataImpulse or ASocks for residential traffic by the gigabyte that does not expire.
- NewIPNow, Proxy6 or Proxy-Cheap for a few fixed datacenter addresses: 10 cost $8.80 to $15 a month there, and $20 at Storm Proxies.
- Decodo for country, city and ZIP targeting from a larger pool.
What we could not find out
No plan was bought and no proxy tested, so the size of the pool behind each port, its speed and its success rates stay unknown. So does which of the two figures on the 400-proxy pack is charged. We found no source for the jump from 700,000 to 20+ million residential addresses, and no company name anywhere on the site. Storm Proxies' plan pages and pool claims are due another reading by 13 January 2027.
