Leaving Pixelscan: the numbers side by side

Weighing up Pixelscan? What is actually published, what it does not tell you, and how to settle the decision on your own target for a few dollars.

Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Residential proxies

If you are comparing Pixelscan against anything else, the first thing to fix is units. A per-gigabyte rate against a per-address rate is not a comparison, and half the proxy provider market prices in a different unit to the other half.

What we know about Pixelscan, and what we do not

You will find them at pixelscan.net.

There is no price in this comparison because we do not have one we can date and attribute. What follows instead is the set of questions that decide the cost once you do read their page.

Find the rate available with no commitment, then find the cheapest rate and what it costs to reach. The distance between those two tells you what kind of vendor you are dealing with.

Their own description, read this week

Their homepage title, read on 9 September 2026: "Pixelscan, Fast multi-check tool for detection analysis". The description they publish for search engines reads: "Pixelscan is a complete multi-check tool for browser fingerprinting, proxy detection, IP analysis, DNS leaks, and more. See how detectable your setup really is."

The rest of what the page puts in writing:

We found no separate pricing page linked from the homepage, which usually means the price arrives by quotation.

Nothing there has been tested. It is a record of what the page said on the day, which is the honest limit of what a page like this can offer without a measurement.

How long Pixelscan has been trading

The domain was registered on 13 April 2020, through Internet Domain Service BS Corp, which makes it about 6 years old. The lookup behind those dates ran on 23 April 2026. The Internet Archive holds 20 snapshots of the site, the earliest from July 2013. As things stand the domain is held to 13 April 2027.

None of it predicts success rate. It is here because domain age and archive depth are free to check, and a provider whose public record starts last quarter deserves a smaller first order.

We also track pixelscan.pro under the same name. Where a brand runs several domains, check which entity your contract is actually with.

What our crawl found

A crawl of 535 pages on 19 June 2026 returned 503 blog pages and 1 location page.

Site size is a signal about marketing budget rather than network quality, and the two are frequently unrelated. It is useful for a different reason: a provider with many pricing pages is usually segmenting hard, and a provider with none is selling by quotation.

What people actually search about Pixelscan

Worldwide, the brand carries about 20 searches a month: 20 a month for an alternative to them. Figures read from Google Keyword Planner on 9 September 2026.

The largest share is people looking for a way out, which is the honest starting point for a page like this one.

The questions behind the numbers

A commitment is part of the price

Treat a required call with a salesperson as a cost. It delays the work, it usually arrives with an annual term attached, and it exists because the published price is negotiable in one direction only.

The reputation you inherit

Ask how many accounts can sit on one address at once. Where the answer is unlimited or unspecified, price the plan as shared regardless of what the product is called.

The line item hidden in the success rate

Some vendors bill every request, some bill only successful ones, and the difference is the whole comparison once a target starts blocking. A cheap rate with a fifty percent success rate is twice its advertised price.

The comparison, honestly framed

Here are the comparisons that survive contact with a real workload:

A table like this can rank the things that are written down. It cannot rank the thing that matters most, which is how the network behaves against the site you care about.

The measurement that outranks every review

This costs less than a coffee and produces the only evidence that applies to your workload.

  1. Take the smallest paid unit each provider will sell you. A free trial works for a first pass, though trials sometimes ride better pools than paid plans do.
  2. Fire the same batch through both on one afternoon. Different days are different conditions, and that ruins the comparison.
  3. Write down two numbers per provider: the share of requests that succeeded, and the traffic it cost.
  4. Take a handful of the addresses you were given and verify their country and type against a checker you do not control.
  5. Go with whichever performed, then measure again next quarter. Networks change underneath you.

The rest of the shortlist

Buyers comparing this name usually have two or three of these open in other tabs:

What we sell, stated plainly

If you want our side of it: $0.44 per GB for residential, pay as you go, nothing expires, and the free tools stay free. We would rather you measured than believed us, which is why the test comes before this paragraph rather than after it.

Frequently asked questions

Is a cheaper provider usually worse?
Not reliably. Price in this market reflects the supply model and the sales overhead as much as the network. What price does not tell you is the success rate on your target, and that is the figure that decides whether the cheaper option was cheap or expensive. Measure before assuming either way.
How is HProxy different?
The models differ more than the products do. HProxy is pay as you go from a balance you top up when you want, the balance does not expire, there is no subscription unless the optional discount suits you, and residential starts at $0.44 per GB with city and ISP targeting included. Whether that beats a tiered plan depends on your usage pattern, which a short test settles.
Do I have to talk to sales or sign a contract to switch?
Not with us. You can sign up, add funds and send traffic without a call, a minimum or a subscription. Whether another provider requires any of those is on their own pricing page and is worth reading, because a required commitment is part of the price even when it is not part of the rate.
How often should I re-test a provider?
Quarterly is a reasonable rhythm for most workloads, and immediately after a noticeable drop in success rate. Pools are rebuilt, suppliers change and detection improves, so a benchmark from last year describes a network that no longer exists.
Does a bigger pool mean better results?
No. Your job meets only the exits it draws, in the countries it needs, against one target's defences. Freshness and rotation policy move the outcome far more than the headline total, and pool totals across this market are counted generously and rarely audited.

Proxies that don't die mid-job

Residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile, verified by the same engine that runs tens of millions of checks. They read as a real device and hold up under load. Pay as you go, and your balance never expires. $0.44/GB is the 2,000 GB+ rate; a single gigabyte is $0.50/GB, with no minimum order.
