Proxies for Throne and Liberty: The Publisher Split, Region Servers, and What a Proxy Can Do

Proxies for Throne and Liberty explained: how Amazon and NCSOFT split the regions between them, why the account and server are region-bound, why the match is not a proxy job, and which type fits.

Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Proxies for Throne and Liberty run into a boundary that is unusual in its shape: the game is split between two publishers, and the split is the region wall. Amazon Games runs Throne and Liberty in the West and Japan, and NCSOFT runs it in Korea and other Asian territories, and which version you belong to is a publishing arrangement tied to your account, not a live IP check a proxy can spoof. So the region wish people bring to a Throne and Liberty proxy runs into a wall a proxy does not open, and what remains for a proxy is the ordinary account and store work.

Throne and Liberty is a free-to-play MMO on Steam, PS5, and Xbox that drew millions in its first week, and those facts set what a proxy can and cannot do. This page covers the publisher split, why the queue and match are not proxy jobs, what a proxy touches, and which type fits.

What proxies are best for Throne and Liberty?

For keeping several accounts off a shared address and reaching the store or sign-in on a network that blocks it, residential proxies pinned to the account's country and held sticky, or an ISP proxy (static residential) for an account you play daily. Datacenter only for the blocked-network case. No proxy type moves you between the Amazon and NCSOFT versions, shortens an arrival-based queue, or carries the MMO match. A proxy works on the account and web side.

The publisher split is the region wall

The defining fact is who runs the game where. NCSOFT developed Throne and Liberty, and for the global launch it split publishing: Amazon Games holds the rights for North America, South America, Europe, and Japan, while NCSOFT keeps Korea, Taiwan, and other Asian territories. Amazon's version is available in its territories on Steam, PS5, and Xbox, and it launched to more than three million players in its first week.

That split is the wall, and it is a different kind of wall from a simple IP block. Which version you play is a matter of the account you registered with a publisher and the platform it lives on, not a geolocation check you can change on the fly. A proxy that makes you appear to connect from another region does not re-register your account under the other publisher, so it does not move you between the two halves of the game. Appearing to be in Korea does not put an Amazon-region account onto NCSOFT's servers, and vice versa. The region is organized above the level a proxy operates at, and that is the honest headline.

The queue and the match are not proxy jobs

Two more facts close the game side. Busy MMO servers hold new logins in a queue, and a queue is entry rationed by arrival, not by your address, so a proxy cannot move you up it; a quieter server in your region is the real answer. And the match is a live MMO session whose traffic a proxy pulled from a list cannot carry, so a proxy does not lower your ping. Both are the same shape as on Amazon's other MMO, covered in proxies for New World, and neither is something a proxy touches.

What a proxy does help

The account and store side, within the version you belong to. Keeping more than one account off a single shared address, so a flag on one does not reach the rest, and reaching the store or sign-in on a school or office network that blocks it. Regional store research, seeing how packs are priced elsewhere within your publisher's territories, is a browser behind a proxy, with payment and the platform's rules still governing it. The Amazon-account and Steam sides are the same ones covered in proxies for Lost Ark and proxies for New World. None of it moves you across the publisher split.

Why people use proxies for Throne and Liberty

  • Keeping accounts separate. More than one account off a shared address, on the web side.
  • Reaching the store or sign-in on a blocked network. A dorm or office block, routed around it web-side. This is the free-proxy case.
  • Regional store research. How packs are priced elsewhere within your publisher's region, a browser behind a proxy, with payment platform-bound.
  • Crossing the publisher split, shortening a queue, or lowering ping, none of which a proxy does. The split is by publisher, the queue is by arrival, the match is an MMO session.

Which proxy type fits Throne and Liberty

Residential proxies are real residential IPs, pinned to the account's country and held sticky, so a sign-in reads as an ordinary player. If you have not met the category, what is a residential proxy covers the sourcing.

ISP proxies are static residential IPs, one fixed address for an account you play daily.

Datacenter proxies are flagged reputation for an account sign-in and fine only for getting past a network block.

Mobile proxies ride 4G and 5G carriers and rarely earn their cost in this game.

How to set it up

The account side is a browser job; the game is not a proxy job. Set a sticky residential or ISP proxy in a browser for account work and sign-ins, one profile per account, matched to the account's country; our FoxyProxy guide covers the quick route and antidetect browser proxy setup covers several accounts. Verify any exit first with the proxy checker.

Account side (one sticky IP per account, in the account's country):
  main            ->  ISP, held
second account -> residential sticky, held

The Amazon/NCSOFT split is above the level a proxy changes.

How many IPs, sticky versus rotating

One sticky address per account, in the account's country, held indefinitely; there is no throughput or rotation case, because the match never rides a proxy. Throne and Liberty's account traffic is small, so what you buy is addresses, not volume, and our pricing is pay-as-you-go with a balance that does not expire.

Free versus paid for Throne and Liberty

A free proxy can get the store or sign-in through a restrictive network, and if it dies you take the next entry. The free proxy list is re-tested every few minutes across more than a hundred countries; check any candidate in the proxy checker first. Never sign into an account through a free proxy: it is a datacenter address that draws scrutiny, dies within minutes, and passes your login through an operator you do not know; we lay out the mechanism in are free proxies safe. Paid residential at $0.44/GB pay-as-you-go with no KYC covers account work, and ISP addresses at $2.70/IP suit an account you keep.

Where a proxy stops and the publishers start

On Throne and Liberty a proxy works on the account and store side within the version you belong to. It does not cross the Amazon and NCSOFT publisher split, which is organized above the IP layer; it does not shorten an arrival-based queue or lower ping in an MMO session it cannot carry. The region wish that brings most people here runs into a publishing boundary a proxy does not touch, and the account-side work is where it earns its place.

For reaching the store on a blocked network, start free with the free proxy list and the proxy checker. For the accounts you keep, one ISP address each, or clean residential at $0.44/GB pay-as-you-go held sticky, is what holds. Play the version your account belongs to, keep each account on its own address, and let the match connect the way the game built it.

Frequently asked questions

Can a proxy get me into a Throne and Liberty region another publisher runs?
No. Throne and Liberty is split between publishers: Amazon Games runs it in North and South America, Europe, and Japan, while NCSOFT handles Korea, Taiwan, and other Asian territories. That split is a publishing arrangement, not an IP check, so appearing to connect from another region does not move you onto a publisher's servers you are not registered with. A proxy touches the account and store side, not which publisher's version you belong to.
Does a proxy help the Throne and Liberty queue or ping?
No. A login queue is a busy server rationing entry by arrival, not by your address, so a proxy cannot shorten it, and the match is a real-time MMO session a proxy pulled from a list cannot carry, so it does not lower ping. The fixes are a less crowded server in your region and a wired connection, not a proxy, which only adds a hop.
What does a proxy do for Throne and Liberty?
The account and web side: keeping several accounts off a shared address, researching how the game or its packs are priced in another region, and reaching the store or sign-in on a network that blocks it. Because the game is free-to-play on Steam, PS5, and Xbox, the account rules follow those platforms, and a proxy changes the address they see, not the publisher region your account is tied to.
What proxy type fits Throne and Liberty?
For account separation and reaching the store or sign-in on a blocked network, residential proxies pinned to the account's country and held sticky, or an ISP proxy (static residential) for an account you play daily. Datacenter only for the blocked-network case. The match is an MMO session that a proxy does not carry, and the publisher split is not something a proxy changes.
Is Throne and Liberty region-locked by IP?
It is region-organized by publisher and platform account, not by a live IP check you can spoof. Amazon's version is available in its territories, NCSOFT's in Asia, and your platform account ties you to one. A proxy that changes your apparent location does not re-register your account under a different publisher, so it does not move you between the two halves of the game.
