MagneticProxy is trading at magneticproxy.com, run by ByteCrafted LLC, a Delaware company. It sells rotating residential proxies as monthly subscriptions in seven Capsules, each a pool tuned for one kind of job. Plans start at $5.00 for 1 GB a month, and the lowest rate it prints is $1.37 a GB, for 400 GB at $549 a month. The same company runs Wipter, an app that pays people for sharing their bandwidth. The like-for-like prices are in the alternatives table.

It is a named US company with written terms, a sanctions clause and addresses for abuse reports and law enforcement. It has sold proxies under this name since at least June 2025.
What MagneticProxy sells, and what it costs
Every Capsule is rotating residential traffic, sold as a monthly allowance of gigabytes. The Capsules differ by the devices behind them and by the sites they open. General Purpose Premium, AI Automation and the social scraping Capsule run on what the site calls premium devices.

Targeting by country, region and city is included: "You can choose countries or cities at no extra cost." Its docs list no ISP or AS number option. A sticky session keeps one IP for "a default of 30 minutes", and the proxies speak HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The site claims a "99.95% average success rate" and a "0.6s average response time". We did not measure either.
The fine print that decides the cost
Refunds are narrow. The Individual User Terms allow a refund "only if you have used less than 20% of your data allowance or 1 GB, whichever is lower", requested within 14 days of payment.
Plans renew on their own. "Paid plans renew automatically for successive periods unless you cancel before the renewal date." A cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. The pages we read do not say whether unused gigabytes carry over to the next month.
Some sites are closed. Its docs block LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X on its residential network, blocks Outlook and Yahoo Mail, and restricts government sites. The two social media Capsules open X, Meta and Instagram, while "LinkedIn remains restricted".
Logs and checks. It keeps connection logs, "including timestamps and destination domains", for up to 24 months. It may ask for identity or business verification "based on risk signals".
Payment is not spelled out. The public pages we read name no payment method. Checkout runs on a separate purchase site.
Where the IPs come from
MagneticProxy says each connection "is routed through a real device on a real home network". Its current pages do not say how those devices join.
The record fills part of that gap. In May 2024, magneticproxy.com offered a desktop app called Magnetic Proxy that paid people for their unused bandwidth, from a $20 payout. By January 2025 the domain redirected to wipter.com, the same app under the name Wipter. Wipter today names "ByteCrafted LLC d/b/a Wipter", the company behind MagneticProxy. Neither site says whether the proxy pool uses the app.

What customers say
Its Trustpilot page answered our server with a verification wall, and the archive holds no copy, so we give no Trustpilot figure. G2 and SourceForge refused our server too. Its Chrome extension showed 4.9 stars from 32 ratings and 112 users, with a version updated on 14 July 2026.

MagneticProxy includes city targeting in every plan, so its like-for-like row on our side is Premium, $1.49 per GB for a single gigabyte. Lite targets by country only. Both are on our residential price table, with no subscription to start.
Where MagneticProxy is the better buy
Pools named for the job. Seven Capsules split the traffic by use, and the two social media Capsules open X, Meta and Instagram, which its general network blocks.
A low rate at 400 GB. Its Web Scraping Capsule works out at $1.37 a GB for 400 GB a month, with city targeting included.
A cheap first test. New customers get 80% off their first 1 GB of General Purpose traffic.
Where HProxy is the better fit
No subscription. You add funds once and the balance never expires. Its plans renew each month until you cancel.
Refunds you can use. Our refund policy returns unspent balance and unrouted residential traffic within 14 days of purchase. MagneticProxy refunds only below 20% of the data or 1 GB used.
ISP targeting. Our Premium pool, $1.49 per GB for a first gigabyte, targets an AS number together with a country. The MagneticProxy docs list country, region and city only. Our ISP targeting page lists the carriers.
Longer sessions. Premium holds one IP for 3 minutes to 24 hours. The MagneticProxy FAQ gives "up to 30 minutes".

Before you commit
Take the 80% off first gigabyte and put your real job through it. Run the same job through one gigabyte of Premium traffic, and count the requests that came back correct on each side. Our proxy checker helps you check the exits first.
The limits of this record
We did not measure the MagneticProxy network, so nothing here grades speed or success. The success rate and response time are its own claims.
The prices are as its pricing page printed them on 27 September 2026. The pages we read do not state a rollover rule or the payment methods, and its Trustpilot page refused our server. This page is due for a check by 27 December 2026.
