DataImpulse (dataimpulse.com) is trading. On 26 September 2026 it sold residential proxies at $1 a gigabyte, and the traffic never expires. Its terms name Softoria LLC, registered in the United States, as the company behind it. Two rules change the real price: state, city, ZIP code and ASN targeting count at double the rate, and government and banking sites are blocked until you verify your identity. If either matters to you, the alternatives table prices five other residential networks on the same day.

What DataImpulse sells, and what it costs
It sells four products, each bought per GB: residential, premium residential, mobile and datacenter proxies. Its homepage promises "No expiry, no subscription" for all but the premium pool. The price pages read like this on 26 September 2026:

The homepage claims "90M+ ethical residential IPs" in 195 countries, 16 million mobile and 20 million datacenter IPs. In its own words, its residential pools are first-party, with "no resold networks", and every IP comes from people "with full user consent". We did not audit either claim.
The price of ISP, city and ZIP targeting
Country targeting is free, and so is excluding an ASN. Anything finer costs more. Its docs are exact about it: "Traffic routed through the Target Filter (state, city, ZIP code, and ASN) is billed at double the standard rate."

The homepage calls this "a small extra fee". For a scraper that needs one carrier, it doubles the bill per GB. Our Premium pool includes state, city and ISP targeting in its price: $1.49 for one GB, $1.00 per GB at 1,000 GB+. The fine print that decides the bill
- Blocked sites. Since December 2023, "All government websites" and "Banking and payment websites" are blocked. Unblocking needs identity verification, $100 spent for all .gov sites, and $1,000 spent before banking sites are considered, for business use only.
- Refunds. The terms offer "a 7-day refund policy applicable only to the first-time purchase of the "Intro" plan". A crypto payment is never refunded.
- Renewal. Despite the "no subscription" line, the terms say your subscription "will renew automatically".
- Unused balance. Closing the account does not refund the funds left on it.
- One account. A second account can be blocked together with its balance.
- Identity checks. The terms reserve "ID verification" when use is "ambiguous", and resellers pass a KYC check through iDenfy.
- Sessions. Sticky sessions last "up to 120 minutes", and the session parameter holds an IP for 30 minutes on average.
- Payment. The terms mention cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency and PayPal, with the processing fees paid by the customer.
What customers report
The Trustpilot page for dataimpulse.com, as archived on 17 February 2026, showed 3.5 from 253 reviews. Several affiliate write-ups on GitHub print "4.6/5 score on Trustpilot based on 250+ reviews", which no capture we read supports. The live page refused our server on 26 September 2026, so we hold no newer score. We have not tested its network ourselves.
Where DataImpulse is the stronger choice
- ZIP code targeting. Our Premium pool, at $1.49 for one GB, targets by country, state, city and ISP, not by ZIP code.
- A cheap first step with a refund. Five dollars buys a first test, with a 7-day refund if you did not pay in crypto.
- A larger claimed pool: "90M+" residential IPs against the 30M+ we list. Neither figure is audited.
- A premium pool with every filter included, at $5 a GB.

The two models are close: both sell by the gigabyte, and neither lets gigabytes expire. The differences sit in the price of one GB, the cost of targeting a carrier, and how long a sticky address holds.

Which one to pick
- You need country targeting only, and cheap gigabytes that never expire: DataImpulse and HProxy Lite both fit, so compare the price of one GB.
- You need one carrier or one city: compare the DataImpulse double rate, $2 a GB, with our Premium pool at $1.49 for one GB, filter included.
- You need ZIP codes: DataImpulse offers them, at the double rate.
- You scrape government or banking pages: plan for the DataImpulse identity and spend steps first.
