The cheapest proxies in 2026 are shared datacenter IPs, at about 3 cents each a month. Residential traffic starts at $0.30 per GB and mobile traffic at $2.00 per GB on small orders. A private datacenter IP costs about $1 a month, and a dedicated static ISP IP a median $3.50.
Every price here comes from a seller's own price list, read between September 26 and October 26, 2026. We sell proxies too, so our prices sit in the same tables, drawn from our price list. The cheapest proxy for you is the lowest type your target accepts, because a blocked request still costs money.
What are the cheapest proxies by type?
Each row is the lowest small order in our price records. Small means up to 100 addresses or about 10 GB.
| Type | Lowest price | Smallest order |
|---|---|---|
| Shared datacenter | $0.03 per IP | 100 IPs, $2.99 at Webshare |
| IPv6 datacenter | $0.07 per IP | 100 IPs at Geonix |
| Shared ISP | $0.30 per IP | 20 IPs, $6 at Webshare |
| Datacenter IPv4 | $1.00 per IP | 1 IP at ArnProxy |
| Static ISP | $3.50 per IP | median of 31 sellers |
| Datacenter traffic | $0.30 per GB | 3 GB at Rayobyte |
| Residential traffic | $0.30 per GB | 10 GB, $3 at Proxiware |
| Mobile traffic | $2.00 per GB | $5 for 2.5 GB, DataImpulse |
Per-IP prices are for 30 days. These two meters do not compare directly, so the next two sections keep them apart.
Which proxies are cheapest per IP?
An address you rent by the month suits a job that sends a lot of traffic through few identities. Prices run from cents to dollars, and the step up pays for how many other people share the address.
Webshare's ladder shows what you pay for at one seller. Shared datacenter costs $0.03, private $0.74 and dedicated $1.33 per IP. Its ISP line runs $0.30, $0.93 and $2.10 for the same three steps. Shared means other customers use the same address at the same time, and Webshare's private plan still shares each address with a few users.
The entry order matters as much as the rate. Webshare's private rate needs 25 IPs, or $18.52 a month. One dedicated IP at ArnProxy costs $1.00 with a random country, or $1.50 in the USA. Proxy6 sells one at $1.50, and Geonix sells one US address at $1.57. Our own IPv4 proxies cost $1.58/IP, and our ISP proxies cost $2.70/IP a month.
Sites that check IP reputation trust these addresses least. For targets with no bot defense, that does not matter, and a shared IP at 3 cents will do the job. Our list of cheap datacenter proxies goes through these sellers in more detail.
Which proxies are cheapest per GB?
Traffic pricing suits a job that needs many addresses and sends little through each one. The cheapest seller and the median sit far apart here, because a low rate usually comes with a condition.

Cheap residential proxies
Proxiware's Eco pool had the lowest rate: $3 a month for 10 GB, or $0.30 per GB. It is a subscription, and Proxiware says unused data never expires while the subscription runs. Rainproxy's Smart pool costs $0.60 per GB at 5 or 10 GB and does not expire. Evomi costs $0.99 per GB, sold from 15 GB.
Our Residential Lite costs $0.50/GB for one GB and falls to $0.44 per GB at volume. It targets by country, and the traffic has no expiry date. The full ranking of 57 sellers is in the cheapest residential proxies.
Cheap datacenter traffic
Rayobyte charges $0.30 per GB from 3 to 50 GB, falling to $0.23 from 351 GB. Decodo charges $6 for 10 GB a month plus VAT. Rotating datacenter traffic costs little because the addresses cost the seller little, and sites spot them easily.
Cheap mobile proxies
DataImpulse sells a one-time $5 start of 2.5 GB to new customers, then $50 for 25 GB, both $2.00 per GB. Proxidize charges the same rate on a $50 monthly plan. Rainproxy sells a single GB for $3.10. Ours costs $1.50/GB, on the same balance as residential traffic. Our guide to the best mobile proxies compares eleven sellers.
Which cheap proxy fits your job?
Start with the lowest type your target accepts, and move up only when your block rate shows you must.
| Your job | Cheapest fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Open data, no defense | Shared datacenter | cents per IP |
| Many pages, one site | Datacenter traffic | low cost per GB |
| Defended store or search | Residential traffic | home addresses pass |
| Fixed login, weeks long | Static ISP | one stable address |
| Mobile-only checks | Mobile traffic | carrier addresses |
| Local price check | Residential traffic | city and country views |
Two numbers help you budget. HTTP Archive measured the median desktop page at 2,652 KB in October 2024, so one GB covers about 380 full page loads. A job that skips images uses far less, so measure twenty pages of your own target before you buy.
The break-even between the two meters depends on that number. At $0.60 per GB, a $3.50 static ISP IP equals about 6 GB of traffic a month. Below that, traffic costs less. Above it, the fixed address costs less.
What is the catch with cheap proxies?
The low number on a price page rarely belongs to a small buyer. In our record of 21 providers, the median advertised floor was $0.90 per GB and the median entry price was $4.00. Our guide to how much proxies cost holds that table. Five checks catch most of the gap:
- The minimum order. A rate that needs 25 IPs or 100 GB is the wrong number for a buyer of two.
- The expiry. Monthly plans can drop unused gigabytes at renewal, and a low rate on unused data costs more than a higher rate you spend.
- The pool. Cheap tiers often mean a separate pool with fewer countries, and some have no city targeting.
- Shared use. Other customers on a shared address can burn it before you arrive.
- The refund rule. Read it before you pay. A seller that refunds only on small usage gives a heavy test no way back.
A free list costs less again, and its failure rate shows why. In our August 24, 2026 test of free proxies, 31 of 120 reached any of 12 travel sites, and none returned real booking content.
What does HProxy charge?
Residential Lite costs $0.50/GB for one GB and $0.44 per GB at volume. Residential Premium adds city, state and ISP targeting at $1.49/GB for one GB. Static ISP costs $2.70/IP a month, IPv4 $1.58/IP, IPv6 $0.10/IP and mobile traffic $1.50/GB. Traffic you buy has no expiry date, there is no subscription, and our pricing page lists every step.
We sit near the bottom of the residential table and above the cheapest shared lists. We do not sell the 3-cent shared datacenter IP.
What this page could not check
- We compared prices. We ran no speed, success or block test on any seller, ours included.
- Prices are what each page showed on the date we read it, and they change. Most rows date from September 26 to October 26, 2026.
- Decodo's and Rayobyte's traffic rates exclude VAT where the seller says so. Tax can add to any row here.
- "Private" and "dedicated" mean what each seller says they mean. We could not check how many people share an address.
- A seller's name in a table is no recommendation, and we did not buy from every seller.
- We will check every number on this page again by January 26, 2027.
