A residential proxy for the UAE gives you an IP from an Emirati internet provider. UAE sites then treat your requests as a visit from the Emirates. Use it for jobs that need a local view: dirham prices on UAE stores, local search results, and checks in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
Three facts shape the purchase. The two operators, Etisalat and du, hold 53.5% of the UAE's registered IPv4 addresses. Many other blocks registered to UAE companies name other countries in their own records. And every working free UAE proxy on our list was flagged on October 26, 2026. Our residential proxies target the UAE at $0.50/GB for one GB.
Which networks does a UAE IP come from?
RIPE NCC, the internet registry for Europe and the Middle East, lists every block it gives out, with the holder's country. Its file, with records to October 24, 2026, lists 7,232,000 IPv4 addresses for the UAE, in 1,297 blocks held by 171 holders:
Etisalat holds 2,716,800 addresses and du 1,155,072. After them the list changes character. Three large records belong to UAE-registered holders, yet their own block records give the US, Japan and Hong Kong as the country. VDSINA's record says "Amsterdam, Netherlands".
So the registry total includes blocks that may serve other countries. For a residential or mobile IP in the UAE, look at the two operators first: their records name GPRS and LTE ranges. Our page on UAE proxies lists 2 networks that Residential Premium can target there, in 21 cities across 7 regions. The lists date from October 9, 2026.
IPv6 is common. APNIC Labs measured 50.4% of UAE users as IPv6-capable in the 30 days to October 23, 2026, against 31.4% in October 2020.
How big are the UAE pools sellers advertise?
Large next to the two operators' 3.87 million addresses. We read five sellers' UAE pages through our server:
| Seller | Advertised | Of UAE IPv4 |
|---|---|---|
| Shifter | 1.3 million+ | 18.0% |
| Oxylabs | 1,145,034 | 15.8% |
| Bright Data | 384,874 | 5.3% |
| DataImpulse | 104,654 | 1.4% |
Two counts sit on Bright Data's page: 384,874 proxy IPs in its title, 96,218 UAE IPs in its text. The second is a quarter of the first.
Shifter's figure equals 33.6% of all the addresses Etisalat and du hold together. Oxylabs counts residential and datacenter addresses as one number. DataImpulse's 104,654 covers 30 days, against 5,872 active at once. Decodo's UAE page answered 404.
Ask any seller what a number counts, over how many days, and on which networks. We do not publish a pool size per country ourselves.
What do you see through a UAE IP?
The UAE versions of sites. Google's help page notes that "IP addresses are roughly based on geography" and that location "helps to show you nearby results". From a UAE exit you see Emirati search results, dirham prices and stock, and the ads that run in the Emirates. Residential Premium narrows the view to Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah; Residential Lite covers the country at the lowest rate.
A proxy swaps your address and nothing more, so each site's own rules still apply. Detection vendors list residential proxies too, MaxMind's Anonymous IP database among them. Our guide to how websites detect proxies explains the other checks.
Why do free UAE proxies fail?
Since May 13, 2026, our collector has seen 1,007 UAE addresses on public free proxy lists, and 351 of them ever worked. On October 26, 10 were working. Four ran on cloud networks such as Oracle and Alibaba, two on du and one on Emirates Internet. An IP reputation check had flagged all 10, and 9 were reported for recent abuse.
Ten working proxies make a small, flagged pool. Use them to test code only. Our free proxy list for the UAE shows what is working now.
How do you pay from the UAE?
Two ways work at our checkout: a Visa or Mastercard card from $10, or crypto from $3. Our guide to buying proxies with crypto shows what each network charges to send a payment. Both fund one balance that never expires. PayPal is not offered; our payment options page lists every method.
How much traffic does a UAE job use?
About 380 full desktop pages per GB, at HTTP Archive's 2024 median of 2,652 KB a page, or 2,311 KB on mobile. Skip images and a GB lasts far longer, so measure twenty of your own pages first.
Which one should you buy?
For most UAE jobs, buy Residential Lite with the Emirates as the country, at $0.50/GB for one GB and $0.44 per GB at volume. Free UAE proxies lose: all ten working ones were flagged. Choose Residential Premium when the job needs Dubai, Abu Dhabi or another city, or a sticky session of up to 24 hours. It costs $1.49/GB for one GB and $1.00 per GB at volume. Our residential proxies page has the full price list.
What this page could not check
- We tested no speed, success rate or block rate, on any network, ours included.
- We do not publish which UAE networks our own exits come from, or how many there are.
- RIPE NCC's file counts addresses given out, which is neither the addresses in use nor a count of users.
- We could not check where the UAE-registered blocks with other record countries are used.
- Seller pool numbers are as advertised on October 25 and 26, 2026. We could not check what each one counts.
- We will check every number on this page again by January 26, 2027.
