A residential proxy for Turkey gives you an IP from a Turkish internet provider. Turkish sites then treat your requests as a visit from Turkey. Use it for jobs that need a local view: lira prices on Turkish stores, local search results, and checks in one city.
Three facts shape the purchase. Türk Telekom and Turkcell hold 58.8% of Turkey's IPv4 addresses. One seller's advertised Turkish pool equals almost half of the whole country's IPv4 space. And Turkey's central bank forbids crypto in payments, so you pay by card. Our residential proxies target Turkey at $0.50/GB for one GB.
Which networks does a Turkish IP come from?
RIPE NCC, the internet registry for Europe and the Middle East, lists every block of addresses it gives out, with the holder's country. Its file, with records to October 24, 2026, lists 16,824,512 IPv4 addresses for Turkey, in 2,034 blocks held by 730 holders:
Türk Telekom holds 6,923,264 addresses, and Turkcell 2,971,392 under two records. Its registry records describe the big blocks as home lines, with names such as "Turk Telekom ADSL-TT net" and "ADSL-Acibadem-Dynamic Pool". A dynamic pool gives a home connection a new address from time to time.
The ten largest holder records have 84.3% of the space. The 694 holders with 16,384 addresses or fewer share 6.5%.
IPv6, the newer address system, arrived late in Turkey. APNIC Labs measured 0.01% of users in Turkey as IPv6-capable in October 2020. The share was 16.5% a year ago and 21.7% in the 30 days to October 23, 2026.
How big are the Turkish pools sellers advertise?
Compare each number with the registry's 16.8 million. We read five sellers' Turkey pages through our server on October 25, 2026, and four printed a Turkey number:
| Seller | Advertised | Of Turkey's IPv4 |
|---|---|---|
| Shifter | 8.2 million+ | 48.7% |
| Bright Data | 1,296,959 | 7.7% |
| DataImpulse | 673,400 | 4.0% |
| ProxyWing | 380,000 | 2.3% |
Bright Data's title says 1,296,959 proxy IPs, and its page text 324,239 Turkish IPs, a quarter as many. The table shows the title.
Shifter's figure would be almost half of every IPv4 address registered to Turkey. DataImpulse's 673,400 counts the IPs seen in 30 days; the same page shows 4,345 active at once, a 155-fold gap. Decodo prints only a worldwide number.
So ask a seller what a pool number counts, and over how many days. We do not publish a pool size per country ourselves.
What can you do with a Turkish IP?
Google's help page says "IP addresses are roughly based on geography", and your location "helps to show you nearby results". With a Turkish address, sites show you what they show people in Turkey:
- Prices and stock. Read the lira prices, offers and stock that Turkish stores show to local shoppers.
- Search results. Track rankings and local results as a searcher in Turkey sees them.
- City checks. See what a site shows in Istanbul, Ankara or Izmir, with Residential Premium.
- Ad checks. Confirm that a Turkish campaign appears in Turkey, and how it looks there.
Residential Lite targets the country at the lowest rate. Residential Premium adds city and network targeting. Our page on proxies in Türkiye lists 253 cities in 75 regions and 79 networks. The counts come from the Premium pool lists of October 9, 2026.
A proxy changes your IP and nothing else. A site's own rules still apply to your work. Detection services list residential proxies too: MaxMind's Anonymous IP database has a flag for them. Our guide to how websites detect proxies covers the other checks.
Why do free Turkish proxies fail?
Our collector reads the free proxy lists published online. Since May 13, 2026, it has seen 2,851 Turkish addresses on those lists, and 866 of them ever worked. On October 25, 21 were working:
Most ran on local networks such as Tellcom and TTNet, and 6 ran on datacenter networks. The reputation check had flagged all but one. Use free proxies only to test your code. Our free proxy list for Türkiye shows the working ones.
How do you pay from Turkey?
By card. Visa and Mastercard work at our checkout from $10, and the payment funds one balance that never expires.
Crypto is the other way our checkout offers, from $3, and Turkish law speaks to it directly. The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's regulation says: "Crypto assets shall not be used directly or indirectly in payments". It has been in force since April 30, 2021. A buyer in Turkey should therefore pay by card.
PayPal is not offered at our checkout. Our payment options page lists every method.
How many GB does a Turkish job use?
Count the pages first. HTTP Archive's Web Almanac 2024 put the median desktop page at 2,652 KB and the median mobile page at 2,311 KB. At those sizes, one GB holds roughly 380 full desktop page loads.
Text-only requests use far less. Run twenty typical pages through the proxy, check the traffic in the dashboard, and scale from there.
Which one should you buy?
For most Turkish jobs, buy Residential Lite with Türkiye as the country, at $0.50/GB for one GB and $0.44 per GB at volume. Free Turkish proxies lose: all but one working proxy on our list was flagged. Choose Residential Premium when the job needs a city, a network or a sticky session of up to 24 hours. It costs $1.49/GB for one GB and $1.00 per GB at volume. Our residential proxies page has the full price list.
What this page could not check
- We tested no speed, success rate or block rate, on any network, ours included.
- We do not publish which Turkish networks our own exits come from, or how many there are.
- RIPE NCC's file counts addresses given out, which is neither the addresses in use nor a count of users.
- Seller pool numbers are as advertised on October 25, 2026. We could not check what each one counts.
- Some holder records carry only registry names, such as TR-RTNET and TR-VFNET.
- This page quotes the central bank's rule as written, from its English translation; it gives no legal advice.
- We will check every number on this page again by January 25, 2027.
