A residential proxy for Pakistan gives you an IP from a Pakistani internet provider. Pakistani sites then treat your requests as a visit from Pakistan. Use it for jobs that need a local view: prices and stock on Pakistani stores, local search results, and checks in one city.
Three facts shape the purchase. One company, PTCL, holds about 69% of the country's IPv4 addresses. Every working free Pakistani proxy on our list was flagged on October 25, 2026. And Pakistani cards carry a yearly limit and a small tax on payments abroad. Our residential proxies target Pakistan at $0.50/GB for one GB.
Which networks does a Pakistani IP come from?
An IP belongs to the provider that connects the user. APNIC, the internet registry for the Asia Pacific region, lists every block it gives out, with the holder's country. Its file of October 26, 2026 lists 5,621,248 IPv4 addresses for Pakistan, in 821 blocks:
PTCL holds 3,863,552 of those addresses. Wateen, Cyber Internet Services and Jazzworld Pakistan follow, far behind. Together, PTCL, Wateen and Cyber Internet hold 77.7% of the country's IPv4 space.
Few users in Pakistan have the newer system, IPv6, yet. APNIC Labs measured 23.4% of users in Pakistan as IPv6-capable in the 30 days to October 23, 2026. The share in India was 76.2%. In October 2020, Pakistan's share was 0.45%.
How many residential IPs can a seller have in Pakistan?
The registry gives you a yardstick. APNIC's 5.62 million is every IPv4 address registered to Pakistan. Sellers print pool sizes on their location pages, and we read three of them through our server on October 25, 2026:
| Seller | Advertised | Of Pakistan's IPv4 |
|---|---|---|
| Shifter | 3.3 million+ | about 59% |
| Oxylabs | 2,817,575 | about 50% |
| DataImpulse, 30 days | 702,880 | 12.5% |
| DataImpulse, now | 4,752 | 0.08% |
A pool number depends on how it is counted. DataImpulse's own page shows three counts: 702,880 IPs seen in 30 days, 162,240 in 24 hours, and 4,752 active at once. Its 30-day count is 148 times its count of active IPs. Oxylabs' page also says "Over 1 million Residential and Datacenter Proxies all over Pakistan", next to its larger number.
Before you compare pools, ask a seller two questions. Over how many days was the number counted? And does it include datacenter or IPv6 addresses? We do not publish a pool size per country ourselves.
What does a Pakistani IP change?
Sites read your IP to decide where you are. Google's help page says "IP addresses are roughly based on geography", and your location "helps to show you nearby results". An IP in Pakistan shows you the Pakistani version of a page.
A Pakistani IP makes these jobs possible:
- Price and stock checks. See the prices, offers and stock that stores show to shoppers in Pakistan.
- Search results. Track rankings and local results as a user in Pakistan sees them.
- City checks. See what a site shows in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad, with Residential Premium.
- Ad checks. Confirm that a campaign for Pakistan shows in Pakistan, and how.
Residential Lite targets the country at the lowest rate. Residential Premium adds city and network targeting. Our page on Pakistani proxies lists 72 cities in 6 regions and 99 networks, from the Premium pool's lists of October 9, 2026.
What does a Pakistani proxy not do?
A proxy changes your IP and nothing else. A site that forbids proxies forbids this one as well, and its rules apply to your work. Detection services also list residential proxies: MaxMind's Anonymous IP database has a flag for them. Our guide to how websites detect proxies explains the other checks.
Why do free Pakistani proxies fail?
Our collector reads the free proxy lists published online. Since May 13, 2026, we have seen 916 Pakistani IPs on those lists, and 338 ever worked. On October 25, 37 were working:
Most of them ran on local networks such as Wateen and Trans World, and only 3 ran on datacenter networks. The reputation check had flagged every one anyway. A free proxy is fine for testing your code. Our free proxy list for Pakistan shows the working ones.
How do you pay from Pakistan?
Two rules apply to card payments from Pakistan.
- A yearly limit. The State Bank of Pakistan caps card payments abroad at USD 30,000 a year per person, across all cards and banks. The year starts on November 1. The same circular allows these payments for personal needs only: "cross-border commercial payments through cards issued to individuals are not permissible".
- An advance tax. Your bank deducts a tax when a card payment goes abroad, under section 236Y of the Income Tax Ordinance. The FBR's rate card under the Finance Act 2026 sets it at 0.5% if you are on the Active Taxpayers List, and 1% if you are not. On a $10 top-up, that is about 5 or 10 cents.
Crypto starts at $3 and needs no card. Since April 14, 2026, the State Bank lets banks open accounts for exchanges licensed by PVARA. PVARA is the regulator set up under the Virtual Assets Act, 2026. The circular replaced the bank's 2018 ban on dealing in virtual currencies. Our guide to buying proxies with crypto shows what each network charges to send a payment.
Both ways top up one balance, and the balance never expires. PayPal is not offered at our checkout. Our payment options page lists every method.
How much traffic does a Pakistani job need?
Size it from the pages you load. HTTP Archive's Web Almanac 2024 measured the median desktop page at 2,652 KB and the median mobile page at 2,311 KB. One GB therefore covers roughly 380 full desktop page loads.
A job that skips images and scripts needs far less. Load twenty typical pages through the proxy, read the traffic it used in the dashboard, and multiply.
Which one should you buy?
For most Pakistani jobs, buy Residential Lite with Pakistan as the country, at $0.50/GB for one GB and $0.44 per GB at volume. Free Pakistani proxies lose: every working one on our list was flagged. Choose Residential Premium when the job needs a city, a network or a sticky session of up to 24 hours. It costs $1.49/GB for one GB and $1.00 per GB at volume. Our residential proxies page has the full price list.
What this page could not check
- We tested no speed, success rate or block rate, on any network, ours included.
- We do not publish which Pakistani networks our own exits come from, or how many there are.
- APNIC's file counts addresses given out, which is neither the addresses in use nor a count of users.
- Seller pool numbers are as advertised on October 25, 2026. We could not check what each one counts.
- The website of Pakistan's telecom regulator, PTA, did not answer our robots.txt check, so this page uses no PTA figures.
- Your own tax rate depends on your filing status, and the Income Tax Ordinance prevails over the FBR's rate card.
- The free proxy figures come from one day and one IP reputation check.
- We will check every number on this page again by January 25, 2027.
