Buy Ahrefs proxies. Stable access, one identity.
Ahrefs guards its data behind two gates a proxy has to satisfy at once: Cloudflare's browser check and its own account logic that locks a login it thinks is shared. A steady, trusted address is what keeps you the right side of both.

Cloudflare Turnstile, and a token that lives 300 seconds
Ahrefs sits behind Cloudflare Turnstile, a non-interactive check that runs JavaScript probes, proof-of-work, browser-API tests and behavioural signals, and issues a clearance token that expires in 300 seconds. A bare HTTP client that runs no JavaScript fails before any visible challenge appears, so scraping Ahrefs is not a plain-request job: you have to drive a real browser like Playwright or Puppeteer.
On top of that, Ahrefs tracks concurrent sessions on a login and throttles or locks an account it believes is shared. So there are two gates, Cloudflare's browser check and Ahrefs's own account logic, and a proxy has to keep you clean on both at once.
Group buy is a location problem
The reason most people reach for Ahrefs proxies is a shared seat, a group buy or a team on one account, and the failure mode is location. The moment each user reaches Ahrefs from their own IP, the account shows many places at once and gets flagged. Routing the whole account through one shared, stable exit is what keeps it looking like one person; separate accounts want one non-overlapping IP each.
We will not pretend that rewrites the rules. Ahrefs's terms restrict account sharing and scraping, so go in knowing what you are doing and why. A proxy reduces the friction; it does not change the terms, and the API, metered in units and priced by the row, is the sanctioned route if you need clean data at volume.

FAQ
Ahrefs proxy questions, answered
Why can't I scrape Ahrefs with a simple script?
Because Cloudflare Turnstile runs a JavaScript check before the page loads and issues a token that lives only 300 seconds. A bare HTTP client runs no JavaScript and fails immediately, so you have to drive a real browser like Playwright or Puppeteer, behind a clean IP.
What proxy is best for an Ahrefs group buy?
One shared static residential IP for the whole account. Group buy fails when each user logs in from their own address and the account suddenly shows many locations at once. A single stable exit keeps it looking like one person.
Static or rotating proxies for Ahrefs?
Static residential for anything logged in, so Cloudflare trusts the address and the account logic does not flag it for hopping. Rotating residential only for reading public, logged-out data, where spreading requests keeps you under the per-IP rate limit.
Is sharing an Ahrefs account against the rules?
Ahrefs's terms restrict account sharing and scraping, so a proxy reduces friction but does not rewrite the terms. If you need clean data at volume, the metered API is the sanctioned route; go in knowing the trade-off.
