Temu's parent wrote the book on catching farmed accounts
Temu is a PDD Holdings property, launched in the US in September 2022, the same parent as Pinduoduo. Pinduoduo grew on gamified referral, the price-chop invite mechanic, so PDD has years of practice telling a genuine invite graph from a farmed one. Temu inherits that: it links accounts by the referral graph itself, who invited whom, on top of IP, device fingerprint, card, phone and address.
This is worth stating plainly because it shapes what a proxy can honestly do here. Catching the exact thing people point proxies at Temu to do, multiplying accounts to farm referral credits, is its parent's home turf, and a proxy changes only the IP layer.
