Why pin a network
When the network matters,not only the country.
Some targets key their rules on the network an address belongs to, not only on the country. Cloudflare's rate limiting rules, for one, can count by ASN on their Enterprise tier. A line pinned to O2 looks like one consistent kind of visitor to a rule like that: a O2 customer.
The other reason is testing. A page, an ad or a price shown to O2 customers can be checked from a O2 address, from the countries listed above, without asking anyone to run a browser for you.
A pin does not change what your client sends. Cookies, headers and the TLS handshake are still yours, and a target that keys on those needs a real browser profile behind the line.

Yes. A line generated with the asn field exits only from addresses the network announces under that AS number. The gateway lists AS6805, AS35228 for O2, and a pin to any of them is refused rather than substituted when nothing is free on it at that moment.

AS6805, AS35228. The list on this page is read from the gateway's own catalogue at render time, so it is what the generator accepts today, not a copy of a registry.
