Use HProxy with FoxyProxy.
Manage HProxy proxies in Chrome or Firefox with FoxyProxy, logins and all.
FoxyProxy is a browser extension that stores multiple proxies and switches between them, including the authenticated proxies the browsers' own dialogs handle poorly.
If you juggle several exits, a country here, a city there, an extension that holds them all and flips with one click beats editing settings each time.
Setting up HProxy in FoxyProxy
- 1.Install FoxyProxy in Chrome or Firefox and open Options.
- 2.Add a new proxy: host gate.hproxy.com, your port, type HTTP or SOCKS5.
- 3.Enter your username and password in the extension.
- 4.Pick the proxy from the toolbar to route the browser through it.
Worth knowing
FoxyProxy stores the login itself, which is why it succeeds where Chrome's native dialog stalls.
The host, port and login shown here are the format; your exact values are on your dashboard, ready to copy.
