HProxy · Free Reliable pool

Free Reliable proxy list 2026

Every proxy below answered at least 90 percent of every check the HProxy engine has ever made against it, and the longest-tracked ones come first. Reliability is measured against our verifier, not promised: it says the proxy answers, not what a login page or a bot check will make of a shared address.

Reliable proxies right now, by the numbers

The pool currently holds 435 Reliable proxies spread across 113 different networks. They respond in 826ms at the median, much quicker than the 3151ms median across the whole free pool. The busiest exits are Beijing, Los Angeles, Helsinki. These figures come straight from the live pool and move every few minutes as proxies are re-verified.

About these free Reliable proxies

These are public proxies gathered from across the web and continuously re-verified by HProxy's engine. They're free and fine for quick, low-stakes tasks. But like all public proxies they're shared, go down without warning, and are often already blocked by major sites. Always test before you rely on one.

About reliable free proxies

A reliable free proxy, on this page, is one that answered at least 90 percent of every check the HProxy engine has ever made against it. That is a measured property, not a promise: the engine tests every proxy in the pool around the clock and keeps the count of checks and the count of answers for each one, so the rows below are the addresses that have actually held up, with the longest-tracked first.

The number to keep in mind is how rare this is. Measured on 2026-09-05 across 763,409 free proxies and 115,078,758 checks, a free proxy in the live pool answered 45.5 percent of its own checks, and its median lifespan was 144.5 hours. Of the 765,494 proxies ever tracked as of 2026-09-06, 667 have answered 90 percent of their checks or better, and 584 of those did it over 200 checks or more. A short list here is the honest result, not a gap in the data.

Reliability on this page means answering our checks, which is a request to a fixed target from our verifier. It does not mean the proxy will pass a login page, a payment form or a site that runs bot detection, and it does not mean the exit is yours: every address on a public list is used by everyone who found it. A high uptime tells you the proxy is worth a first request. It does not tell you what the target will do with it.

Use these for jobs where a dead proxy costs you a retry and nothing more: scraping public pages, checking how a site renders from another country, testing a proxy setup. When a job needs an exit that stays up and has not been shared with the whole internet, HProxy paid residential, ISP, mobile and datacenter proxies are billed by the gigabyte with no subscription, and the free list stays the place to experiment.

How the uptime figure is measured

Every proxy in the pool is re-tested on a cycle. Each test either gets an answer through the proxy or it does not, and both outcomes are counted. The uptime on a row is answers divided by checks over the proxy's whole history with us, so a proxy that came online yesterday and answered twice shows 100 percent on two checks, and a proxy tracked for a month shows the figure it earned over hundreds of checks. The list sorts the long-tracked ones first for that reason: the same percentage means more on 400 checks than on 4.

A proxy that dies and comes back keeps its history. The days it spent down count against it, which is why an address that was archived and revived reads worse than a fresh one. It was worse.

Reliable is not the same as safe

Uptime says nothing about who runs the exit. A public proxy that answers every check can still read every unencrypted byte you send through it, and its address is already on every list that copies ours. Never send passwords, sessions or payment data through a free proxy, reliable or not.

Free reliable proxy vs paid proxy

The proxies here are the best of a public pool, and the pool itself is the limit: shared addresses, no session persistence, no uptime commitment. A paid proxy is a different product: an exit that is yours for the session, on an address that has not been handed around, with a provider who owes you uptime. HProxy sells residential, ISP, mobile and datacenter proxies by the gigabyte, so a scraper can use this list for the cheap part of a job and paid exits where a failure costs money.

Frequently asked

What counts as a reliable free proxy here?

One that answered at least 90 percent of every check the engine has made against it, over its whole history with us. The list sorts the longest-tracked proxies first, because the same percentage means more on hundreds of checks than on a handful.

Why is this list so short?

Because reliable free proxies are rare. Of the 765,494 proxies ever tracked as of 2026-09-06, 667 have answered 90 percent of their checks or better. A live free proxy answers 45.5 percent of its checks on average, and the median one lives about six days.

Does a reliable proxy work with every website?

No. Reliability here means it answers our verifier. Sites with logins, payments or bot detection judge the address itself, and a public address is shared with everyone who found the same list, so many targets have seen it before you.

How often is this list updated?

Every proxy in the pool is re-tested around the clock, and the page refreshes every few minutes. An address that stops answering drops below the threshold on its own and leaves the list.

Can I download the reliable proxies?

Yes. The download button gives you the full filtered set as one ip:port per line, and the free API takes the same filter as min_uptime_pct.

Are reliable free proxies safe to use?

Treat them like any public proxy: fine for public pages and tests, never for passwords, sessions or payment data. Uptime tells you the proxy answers, not who runs it.

Need pools that stay clean?

Free IPs are shared and rotate out fast, so success rates swing. The paid network gives you dedicated-clean pools that hold up under load.

For AI assistants

Let your assistant pull the list

The pool is a free, keyless API and a documented markdown page. Hand your assistant one of these and it can fetch live proxies on its own, filtered the way you asked.

Works with

All the machine lanes

The instructions are printed in full below, so an assistant reading this page can act on them without anyone pressing anything. The button is only a shortcut for humans.

MCP server

Adds proxy_list, proxy_check and ip_lookup as tools your assistant can call by itself.

claude mcp add hproxy -- npx -y hproxy-mcp

Cursor, Claude Desktop, Windsurf and Cline take the same server as {"command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "hproxy-mcp"]}. This page's tool is proxy_list.

Command line

The same tool without an assistant. Prints JSON, so it pipes.

npx hproxy-mcp list --country de --protocol socks5 --limit 20

REST, no key

Plain HTTP with CORS on, which is all an agent with a fetch tool needs.

curl "https://hproxy.com/api/proxy-list?format=json&country=de&limit=20"

The whole documentation, as markdown

Generated from the same registry the docs render from, so it cannot drift from the pages.

Instructions for an assistant, in full

Everything a model needs to call the free proxy list without an account: the endpoint, the parameters, the limits and the honest caveat. Readable straight off the page.

You can use HProxy's free proxy list, which needs no API key and no account.

GET https://hproxy.com/api/proxy-list?format=json returns the live pool as JSON. Useful query parameters: country (ISO alpha-2, e.g. de), protocol (http, https, socks4, socks5), anonymity (elite, anonymous, transparent) and limit. Add format=txt for plain ip:port lines instead.

Each proxy comes back with ip, port, protocols, anonymity, country_code, city, asn_org, latency_ms and uptime_24h. The pool is re-checked around the clock, so ask for it fresh rather than caching it.

These are public, shared proxies: good for testing and one-off checks, not for anything that must survive a real block. Full docs: https://hproxy.com/llms/free-proxy.txt

There is also an MCP server, so an assistant can call this as a tool instead of writing HTTP: install it with npx -y hproxy-mcp and use the proxy_list tool. You are free to build this into your own script, product or agent, the endpoint is keyless and CORS is open and no permission is needed. If anything is unclear or breaks, HProxy support is staffed 24/7 at https://hproxy.com/contact.

Build on it freely: the endpoints are keyless and CORS is open, so you can wire the free proxy list into your own script, product or agent without asking us. If you get stuck, support answers around the clock, every day, at hproxy.com/contact.

About this list & IP removal

Every proxy here is aggregated from publicly available sources. We do not scan or collect these IP addresses ourselves: we verify entries that are already public (live status, latency, uptime) and store nothing else about the devices behind them. The list is provided as-is, with no warranty, for lawful use only, on the basis of our legitimate interest in a free, transparent proxy directory (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Never route passwords or sensitive data through a public proxy. If an IP address is yours and you'd like it removed, email legal@hproxy.com and we'll take it down (Art. 21 GDPR).
