Is the Chrome extension free?
Yes. The extension is free to install and includes a free VPN mode and access to the live free proxy pool. Paid residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile pools work through the same switch once you top up your balance.
How do I install it?
Add it from the Chrome Web Store, pin it to your toolbar, and sign in with your HProxy account. That's the whole setup. You're one click from a fresh IP.
Does it work in other browsers?
It's built for Chrome and every Chromium browser: Edge, Brave, Opera and Arc all run it. A desktop and mobile app cover everything else so the same account routes any device.
Will it slow down my browsing?
No. Traffic takes fewer network hops than a typical proxy setup, tuned for the fastest response times the residential tier can hit, and you can flip it off instantly whenever you want your normal connection back.
Is my traffic private?
The switch only routes traffic while it's on, and turning it off returns you to your normal connection immediately. Free pool IPs are shared public proxies; the paid pools give you clean, dedicated exits.
