Why Alipay is its own option and not a checkbox
This is a detail worth explaining because it caused real failures before we fixed it. When Alipay is offered as one tile among many on a generic card page, the payment method is chosen after the invoice currency is already fixed. That combination gets declined at confirmation, every time, with an error that tells the customer to try again when trying again cannot work.
So Alipay is selected up front, on our checkout, before the payment is created. Naming the method first is what makes it go through.
What you get for it
The same balance as every other funding route, spendable on residential bandwidth, static ISP addresses, mobile endpoints, datacenter IPv4 and IPv6, and scraper runs. Balances are held in dollars, so the yuan amount you approve is converted at the time you pay and does not move afterwards.

Alipay payment questions, answered
What is the minimum Alipay payment?
Three dollars, the same floor as crypto. A smaller amount is raised to the floor and credited in full rather than rejected.
Do I pay in yuan or dollars?
You approve the payment in yuan in the Alipay app, and your HProxy balance is credited in dollars at the rate applied when the payment is made.
Why do I have to choose Alipay before checkout rather than on the payment page?
Because choosing it afterwards does not work. The payment method has to be named before the invoice is created, otherwise the confirmation is declined. Selecting it up front is what makes the payment succeed.
