Somebody searching for Proxyit today is usually one of two people: a customer who cannot log in, or a buyer who found an old review. This page is for both, and it starts with the dates.
What the site does today
We tried three routes to it on 9 September 2026 and all three failed (ENOTFOUND). Nothing is listening.
10 working snapshots exist, ending May 2019. Nothing usable was archived after that month.
How it described itself
In May 2019, the last month the archive caught it working, the homepage was titled "Website Proxy Coming". The heading on the page was "Website Proxy".
The company is describing itself there, preserved by a third party. It is the closest a reader gets to seeing what they signed up for. Marketing, not evidence of quality, but nobody can quietly revise it now.
The site, while it lasted
The archive first captured a working page in August 2018.
So the business existed and had a product. Whether it was any good is not something the record can settle.
Related names
We also track the same brand at proxyit.gq, proxyit.ml. Where a shutdown leaves sibling domains behind, they are worth checking before assuming everything stopped.
What this page cannot tell you is the reason. Companies close for ordinary reasons far more often than dramatic ones, and the public record does not distinguish between them. Everything above is a date or a capture; none of it is a motive.
More of the same record
We keep the same record for these, each re-checked the day it was written:
- What happened to SocialProxies
- What happened to Sslprox
- What happened to Supervpn
- What happened to Sweetproxies
- What happened to Tabproxy
- What happened to Themobileproxy
Picking a replacement
Practical first step for a former customer: stop any recurring payment at your bank rather than on their site, since their site is not there to stop it on. Then check your dispute window.
For the replacement itself, the useful rule is to keep your prepaid exposure small until a provider has earned more. HProxy is pay as you go from $0.44 per GB with nothing expiring, which is why we can say that without it costing us anything. Run a small paid test on your own target before you commit either way.
