Free proxies do not help on DoorDash, and for the most common reason people look for one, no proxy is needed. DoorDash shows the restaurants for whatever delivery address you enter, so you can read another city by typing an address there. Its terms forbid scraping, even of pages you can see logged out, and they forbid opening extra accounts for new-customer offers. We did not send free proxies to DoorDash. One request from our server, with no proxy, got status 403 and a page titled "Just a moment...".

What DoorDash says
DoorDash sets the rules in its Consumer Terms and Conditions, effective 13 August 2026.
- Access. "You will only use or access the Services using means explicitly authorized by DoorDash."
- Scraping. "You will not scrape or otherwise conduct any systematic retrieval of data or other content from the Services (including content accessible without being logged into your account)". Robots, scripts and crawlers are named as well.
- Promotions. Users may not abuse the promotional code system "by opening multiple accounts to benefit from offers available only to first-time Users".
- Accounts. "You are the sole authorized User of any account you create through the Services."
See another city without a proxy
DoorDash builds its list of restaurants from the delivery address. Its help article on where DoorDash delivers says to "enter your delivery address in the search bar and select find restaurants". Its article on addresses says to "Enter the address in the search bar and select the address from the populated results". Type an address in the city you want to read, and the list follows it.
DoorDash also lists where its apps run: "DoorDash applications are available in certain countries and languages". The countries are Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. A proxy does not bring delivery anywhere it does not already reach.
What our server saw
We did not test free proxies on DoorDash, since its terms forbid automated access. We sent one request from our server, a machine in a data center, with no proxy, to read the terms. DoorDash answered through Cloudflare with status 403 and a page titled "Just a moment...", not the terms. We read them from the help centre instead.
- Networks. On 28 September 2026 at 18:28 UTC, 1,319 of 4,751 working entries on ordinary addresses in our free proxy list were labelled datacenter, and 16,953 of 20,442 counting every entry. The label is the public network type of each address.
- Downloads. In two runs against our own website on 28 September, 104 and 116 of 200 working free proxies on ordinary addresses sent nothing within 30 seconds. Only 65 and 49 delivered the same 3.3 MB file, whole or still arriving.
- Lifespan. Those that worked and then stopped lasted a median 10 days, counting only addresses with fewer than 20 of them, without Amazon's networks or one June evening when our checker failed (measured 2026-09-28).
Promotions and accounts
A proxy changes the address a site sees and nothing else. DoorDash checks far more than that for new-customer offers. It disqualifies an offer "if DoorDash has a record of their name, email, phone number, or credit card" from a prior order or account. So a new address with the same name, phone or card is still the same customer.
DoorDash also watches logins. It says: "Whenever our system detects a login from a Consumer account using a new device, you will receive an email to notify you about the activity". This page gives no steps for extra accounts, reused offers or getting around a deactivation.

Your account is worth protecting
A proxy is a server run by a stranger, in the middle of your traffic, and it adds no encryption of its own. A DoorDash account carries a saved card and your home address. A hostile proxy can present a fake certificate and hope you click past the warning. In our test on 28 September 2026, 161 of the 268 free SOCKS5 proxies on ordinary addresses that finished a TLS handshake with our own site handed back a certificate that was not ours. A 2018 study of more than 107,000 listed open proxies found TLS man-in-the-middle attacks. Never log in, check out or change account settings through a free proxy. For public pages elsewhere, check a free proxy first. Paste it into our free proxy checker, with no signup. It reports the exit address, country, latency and anonymity grade.

When free is not enough
For web tasks that have to keep running, such as checking your own site from another country, a residential proxy is the better tool. Its address belongs to a home connection, and it stays up while you work. Ours start at $0.44/GB, pay as you go, and purchased traffic has no scheduled expiry date. Nothing on this page routes DoorDash traffic through a proxy.
The plain answer
You do not need a proxy to read DoorDash in another city: enter an address there. DoorDash forbids scraping, even of logged-out pages, and forbids extra accounts for new-customer offers, which check name, email, phone and card anyway. Our server, with no proxy, got a 403 page. Never sign in or pay through a free proxy.
How we measured
We read the DoorDash terms and five help articles from our server in the United States on 28 September 2026, in English. Our one request to www.doordash.com went out that day between 11:02 and 11:08 UTC, with no proxy. We sent no free proxy to DoorDash. The datacenter count comes from one read-only query of our pool at 18:28 UTC. It leaves out addresses that held 20 or more working entries, and the figure over every entry stands next to it. The download test asked 200 working free proxies from addresses that held fewer than 20 working entries for the same 3.3 MB file from our own website, twice. All had passed our HTTPS check, each had 30 seconds, and the runs finished at 22:29 and 23:17 UTC on 28 September. The certificate test made one TLS handshake with our own site through every free SOCKS5 proxy on such an address, from 18:28 to 18:35 UTC. We store no proxy addresses from these tests, and every time is in UTC.
