This is an obituary written from public records rather than gossip. Proo8 has stopped answering, and the registration and archive trail is the only honest account of it available.
When the lights went out
We tried three routes to it on 9 September 2026 and all three failed (ENOTFOUND). Nothing is listening.

The last working capture is from May 2019. Its title read "Admin Jitips". Its search snippet read: "Jitips Command Center"
A third party kept that, which is why it is quotable. It records what was being claimed, and says nothing about whether the claims held up.

The archive first captured a working page in July 2018.
The public record holds that much. It shows a company that was real and shipping, and nothing about how well.
We stop short of a cause deliberately. The registration and archive trail shows when things stopped and nothing about why, and the difference between those two claims is the difference between a fact and a defamation.

We re-checked the domain on 9 September 2026 over https, www and plain http. Nothing answered on any of them. That is evidence of a shutdown rather than proof of one, and it is the strongest evidence the public web offers.
What should I use instead of Proo8?+
Start from a list that shows when each entry was last verified. Ours is re-checked every few minutes. Whatever you use, open the target site through it once before you rely on it, because a free proxy that worked this morning may be blocked by lunchtime.
Why does Proo8 still show up in reviews?+
Because affiliate reviews are rarely revisited once they rank. Search demand for a dead provider outlives the company by years, and the pages recommending it keep earning, which is why a dated check like this one is worth more than a five-star roundup.
