A scraping API comparison is only as good as its dates. Prices, pools and policies all move, so every number below carries the day it was read, and anything we could not read is marked as unverified rather than filled in.
Everything we can stand behind
Scrapeless trades at scrapeless.com. They compete with us as a scraping API.
We price the providers we can source and date, and Scrapeless is not currently one of them. The rest of this page is about what to check when you read their pricing yourself.
When you do read it, note four things: the rate you actually qualify for today, the minimum purchase, whether unused balance expires, and whether failed requests are billed. Those four decide the real cost more than the headline does.
Scrapeless in its own words
The title tag on 9 September 2026 was "Scrapeless: Agent Browser, AI Scraper and Web Scraping APIs".
Also on the page, stated plainly:
The product lines named on that page are residential, datacenter, ISP or static residential, SOCKS5, IPv6 and a scraping or SERP API. They advertise 195 countries or locations. Payment methods mentioned: cards. The page offers some form of free trial. A refund or money-back term is mentioned. Their pricing page is titled "Scrapeless Pricing for Agent Browser and Scraping APIs".
Nothing there has been tested. It is a record of what the page said on the day, which is the honest limit of what a page like this can offer without a measurement.
Age, and why it matters here
The domain was registered on 13 June 2024, through NameCheap, Inc, which makes it about 2 years old. We pulled that from the registry on 9 September 2026. The current registration term ends 13 June 2027.
This proves nothing about the product. It is a cheap check against the one failure mode that costs buyers real money in this market, which is paying a provider that will not exist in six months.
What people actually search about Scrapeless
Search volume around the name runs to 20 a month, split as 20 a month for their pricing. Figures read from Google Keyword Planner on 9 September 2026.
The biggest slice is people trying to work out what it costs, so the useful thing to hand a reader is evidence rather than an opinion.
What you still do not know after reading their site
The comparison that is not a comparison
Half this market prices bandwidth and half prices addresses. A per-address plan is cheap for heavy traffic through few exits and ruinous for light traffic through many, and the reverse holds for per-gigabyte plans.
What a blocked response costs you
Divide the spend by the successful responses, not by the requests sent. That single change reorders most price comparisons in this market, and your accounting will use it eventually anyway.
Concurrency limits decide throughput
Rate limits are often enforced per account rather than per plan, which means buying more traffic does not raise them. Confirm how yours scales before you assume a bigger plan runs faster.
The two of us, on the questions that matter
Six questions, both answers, and an honest blank where we do not hold a current figure:
| Question to ask | Scrapeless | HProxy |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Not verified by us, read their page | From $0.44/GB, pay as you go |
| Does unused balance expire? | Their terms page answers this | Never |
| Minimum commitment | On their own terms page | None |
| Identity checks | Not published clearly, ask before paying | Card orders are screened, and verification is sometimes requested |
| Targeting | Worth confirming in writing before you commit | Country, city and ISP |
| Free way to evaluate | Read their current terms | Free proxy list and proxy checker |
Read the table as a list of questions rather than a scoreboard. The answers on their side move, and the row that decides the outcome, success rate on your target, is not printable by anyone.
The test that beats this page
It is a small amount of money for an answer that is actually about your target.
- Put a few dollars on each account. Trials are fine for a first look, but paid traffic is what you will actually be buying.
- Run them against the site you actually care about, using the code you actually run, within the same hour.
- Record the success rate and the data consumed for the identical batch on each side.
- Check some of the addresses yourself for country, ASN and type before you trust the label on the plan.
- Keep the winner, and repeat the whole thing quarterly, because pools age.

Our own position
Residential starts at $0.44 per GB, the balance never expires, there is no minimum commitment and no sales call, and city and ISP targeting are included. We publish our free side openly, 129,131,311 verification checks and counting, because a network that is confident has no reason to fear measurement.
