ProxyLister.com review and alternatives (2026)

ProxyLister is trading at proxylister.com, and it sells no proxies of its own. It lists free public proxies, 16,036 of them on 27 September 2026, and it reviews 46 proxy providers, paid for by affiliate links. A paid tool for managing proxies, ProxyOps, is in private preview with no price. A sole trader on Koh Samui, Thailand, runs it. The alternatives are in the table below.

Is ProxyLister legit? The record in one table

It is a small, young business that states its seller, its refund terms and how it earns in writing. What it does not have yet is a price for its own paid product.

What the free list offers

The list page filters public proxies by protocol, anonymity, country, port and freshness. That day it read "Live proxies 16,036", "Success rate 99.33%" and "Updated every 60s". Canada held 4,247 of them, Belize 893 and France 768.

A public API lists, filters and exports the same proxies as TXT, CSV or JSON. "No API key is required for these endpoints", and a page holds up to 500 rows.

Its page on method describes the checks: collect, normalize, probe, score, publish, then re-check. It also says the charts on that page "are illustrative examples", not live figures. We did not measure the list, so the 99.33% is its own number.

The reviews and the paid tool

The reviews cover 46 commercial providers, with a comparison tool, a quiz and a deals page. Its affiliate disclosure says the site "may earn a commission when you click certain provider links and later purchase a qualifying product". It adds that commission "does not influence quality scores, listing order, recommendation ranking, or methodology outcomes".

ProxyOps is the paid part: a tool to manage, monitor and benchmark proxies from any provider. That day the homepage called it a "Private preview" and said "No trial or pricing promise yet". Paid access is billed through Paddle for cards and NOWPayments for crypto.

The fine print

Free proxies come with no promise. The terms say free endpoints "are not a guarantee of availability, performance, anonymity, legality, or suitability for any purpose".

Refunds on paid access. The refund policy of 19 September 2026 offers a "soft SaaS refund" within 14 days for unused or lightly used access.

Law and limits. Its liability stops at three months of fees or 100 US dollars, whichever is greater. The terms point to the law of the seat of the operator, without naming a country.

Sources: the domain registry, the Internet Archive and its own pages, read the same day. Nothing links the 2006 toplist to the current operator.

ProxyLister alternatives for free and paid proxies

On 9 September 2026 we took a random sample from eleven free lists and opened every address in it. This list was not in that test. The rows below come from our test of eleven free lists.

Size did not predict quality that day. TheSpeedX published 3,024 addresses and relayed 7.5 percent, while free-proxy-list.net published 300 and relayed 34.2 percent. Our own free proxy list comes from an engine that has run 129M checks across 110 sources, as measured on 2026-08-11.

When free proxies are not enough, paid traffic removes the guesswork. Our Residential Lite costs $0.50 per GB for a first gigabyte, with country targeting. Premium costs $1.49 per GB and adds state, city and ISP targeting. Both are on our price table.

Where ProxyLister is the better choice

A large free list with an open API. Filters, exports and a keyless API make it easy to pull thousands of public proxies.

Reviews with written rules. It shows how it checks and how it earns, and it says commissions do not change its rankings.

Tools in one place. A proxy checker, a cURL builder and format tools sit next to the list.

Where HProxy is the better fit

Measured numbers. We publish what our tests found, with the date, for the free lists we compare. The charts on its page on method are, in its own word, illustrative.

Paid proxies with targeting. Our paid proxies come with targeting and a balance that never expires. A free public proxy can go stale between two checks, as the ProxyLister terms say.

Before you commit

Pull a sample from any free list and run it through our proxy checker before you rely on it. If most addresses fail, test a gigabyte of paid traffic next.

The limits of this record

We did not test that list or its tools, so its live count and success rate are its own figures. ProxyOps had no public price, so nothing here compares its cost. This page is due for a check by 27 December 2026.
