Proxy6.net: who runs it, its companies and its history

Proxy6's contract names no company, but its Requisites page has named three sellers since 2023, in Russia and Uzbekistan. The record from 2016 to 2026.

Datacenter proxies→

Proxy6 (proxy6.net) has rented datacenter proxies by the address since June 2016, IPv6 first and IPv4 from September, in Russian and English. Its contract binds a buyer to "the Administration of the site" and names no company or country. A separate Requisites page does, and its seller has changed three times. Since May 2026 it names only PROXY SIX LLC of Elektrostal, in the Moscow region, a company registered in March 2023. Before that it named INHOST MCHJ of Tashkent, and in April 2023 a firm called Internet Tekhnologii. Russia's tax register shows one general director for PROXY SIX and for two companies called Internet Tekhnologii, one of them a telecom company in Elektrostal since 2005. Russia has blocked proxy6.net since November 2024. Prices and the alternatives are on our Proxy6 alternatives page.

We read every record on 10 and 11 October 2026 from our server in St. Louis. They include the shop's pages and contract versions in the Internet Archive, its 447 Telegram posts and Russia's registers of companies and of annual accounts. We also read the RIPE network database, domain and certificate logs, Google Play and Russia's register of blocked sites. A US court index, Russia's notice register and Uzbekistan's register refused our server, so we tried those from our office in Germany. Russian quotes are our translations.

The story, oldest first

Proxy6 and the companies around it, 2010 to 2026: the record. timeline: Mar 2010, proxy6.net is a parking page. 22 May 2016, proxy6.net registered. 25 Jun 2016, First shop pages: IPv6 at 27 rubles a month. Sep 2016, Claims more than five years of trade. 21 Jul 2017, Telegram channel opens. 15 Nov 2017, Shared IPv4 proxies launched. 5 Apr 2018, Internet Tekhnologii registered in Moscow. 18 Apr 2018

Solid markers are records we read in registers, archives and public databases. Hollow markers are statements the shop made about itself.

Before 2016: a parked name

The address existed before the shop. In March 2010 proxy6.net showed a parking page of sponsored links, from "network security" to "proxy servers". The archive holds nothing from it for the next six years.

The current registration dates from 22 May 2016, at Regtime, a registrar in Samara. It is paid until May 2027.

June 2016: a shop for IPv6 proxies

The first archived shop pages date from 25 June 2016. The shop sold one product, IPv6 proxies, at 27 rubles per address for a month or 6.30 rubles for a week. Its FAQ warned that IPv6 works only on sites that support it, naming Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte and YouTube.

Two of its first rules have since changed. "We do not refund money spent on buying proxies," the FAQ said. It also ruled out logging in by IP address: "There is no authorization by IP and there will not be." Today it offers both, the refund with conditions.

The first certificate for the domain was issued on 5 July 2016. An English homepage of 4 July already priced the same IPv6 proxies in dollars.

"More than five years", three months in

By 12 September 2016 the shop also sold IPv4 proxies, rented a month at a time. The same homepage made a claim about its past: "Our team has been selling personal, anonymous, individual proxy servers for more than five years."

No record we found shows a proxy business under this name before 2016. The figure then moved slowly. It read "more than six years" from June 2017 until at least September 2023, seven years in 2024 and January 2025, and nine years since July 2025. Nine years matches the domain.

2017 and 2018: a channel, outages and a first block

The shop opened its Telegram channel on 21 July 2017. Three days later it posted bad news: "One of the data centres is withdrawing its IPv4 networks that belonged to us. They do not tell us the reasons." In October it counted "about 25" DDoS attacks in the site's history.

On 15 November 2017 it added shared IPv4 proxies, sold to at most three buyers at once. From 9 February 2018 its networks closed the sites of two payment systems, WebMoney and Yandex.Money. It blamed fraud through proxies, and an upstream provider that "undertook to block payment systems on the basis of a court decision".

On 18 April 2018 the channel wrote: "An hour ago Roskomnadzor blocked us on the territory of the Russian Federation." Roskomnadzor is Russia's internet regulator. A week later the shop gave buyers in Russia a second address, 1.proxy6.net. The public copy of the register we read lists no entry from 2018, so this first block rests on the shop's word.

Country by country, and dearer IPv4

Most of the channel's early posts announce networks: 12 such posts in 2018, 8 in 2019, 7 in 2020, 20 in 2021 and 17 in 2022. Many carry the line "only 1000 pieces available so far". The first Danish network, in April 2018, came with a warning: "The network is new; until the geo databases update, the location may not be determined correctly everywhere." Buyers still make the same complaint.

IPv4 grew dearer in 2021. One address had cost 69.90 rubles a month; the price rose to 79.90 from 1 February "because networks have run out in the world", and to 99 rubles from 11 October. In dollars it went from $1.248 in January to $1.768 in November 2021.

That October the channel moved several "USA networks" to another data centre and listed their blocks. In the African registry, AFRINIC, those blocks are registered today to a company in the Seychelles.

The companies in the background, 2005 to 2022

For its first years the shop's pages named no company. Russian and network records name several, all tied to one general director and to Elektrostal, a town in the Moscow region.

The oldest is Internet Tekhnologii LLC, registered there in August 2005. Its main activity is wired telecommunications, and its general director has also been its only owner since 2011. In December 2016 it joined RIPE as a member, a local internet registry.

A second company of the same name was registered in Moscow on 5 April 2018. It became a RIPE member on 28 October 2021, and its record there has carried the phone number printed in Proxy6's footer since that day. Google Play lists it, as INTERNET TEKHNOLOGII, OOO, as the developer of the "PROXY6: Internet via Proxy" app, with support@proxy6.net as its address. The app has passed 10,000 downloads and was last updated in October 2021.

Its accounts show 49.3 million rubles of revenue for 2021 and 52.1 million for 2022. On 10 June 2022 the register entered the 2005 company's director as its general director. In September 2022 the register noted that information about the company was unreliable. On 30 November 2022 its address became office 211 at 14 Gorky Street, Elektrostal.

2023: a company named after the shop

PROXY SIX LLC, in Russian ООО «Прокси Шесть», was registered on 9 March 2023 at the same office 211. One person owns all of it. Its general director is the same person who runs both Internet Tekhnologii companies.

On 20 March the archive found Proxy6's Requisites page, a footer link that had led to an empty page since at least February 2021, reading "Page in development". By 5 April 2023 the Russian version named Internet Tekhnologii LLC, with a Moscow address the company had left in November 2022. Beside it stood a second company, "INHOST" MCHJ, at an address in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The English version still read "Page in development" in November 2023.

The contract was rewritten in the same period. By April 2023 the Russian terms page carried a long user agreement in place of the short public offer, which the English page still shows. The agreement speaks only for "the Administration of the site proxy6.net". It names no company, no country and no court.

On 18 May 2023 an organisation called "PROXY6 LLC", at Gorkogo 14-211 in Elektrostal, appeared in the RIPE database. Five days later came a maintainer account named proxy-six-mnt, which has since entered 38 of the address blocks now registered to it.

Revenue in the Russian accounts, in million rubles. grouped chart over 5 points: Internet Tekhnologii LLC (registered 2018), PROXY SIX LLC (registered March 2023).

The accounts do not say whose sales these are. They show the timing: in 2023 the 2018 company's revenue fell to 16.1 million rubles, and PROXY SIX reported 42.1 million in its first ten months.

2024 and 2025: a company in Tashkent

From March 2024 the English Requisites page named one company: "INHOST" MCHJ, an Uzbek limited company with Uzbek tax number 309645471 and an account at Kapitalbank in Tashkent. The Russian page showed the same in January 2025. By May 2025 the Russian page listed PROXY SIX LLC beside INHOST, with an account at Alfa-Bank, while the English page kept INHOST alone until at least 30 January 2026.

RIPE shows how close the Uzbek company sat to the Russian firms. INHOST MCHJ appears there as an organisation created on 25 April 2024 by the registry account of the 2018 Internet Tekhnologii, with an e-mail address at inettech.ru, the domain that company uses in RIPE. Twelve RIPE objects name it, seven of them address blocks called proxy6-net.

We could not read an official Uzbek entry for it. The state register asks for a login with an Uzbek state identity, and its older lookup did not answer.

PROXY SIX kept filing Russian accounts in those years. It reported 67.9 million rubles of revenue for 2024 and 68.5 million for 2025, with a net profit of 14.1 million in 2025. It declared eight staff in each year, and the tax service records 6.28 million rubles of taxes paid for 2025.

Blocked in Russia, and the mirrors

On 28 November 2024 the channel reported "a temporary problem with access to our site from the Russian Federation". The public copy of Russia's register of blocked sites lists proxy6.net under Roskomnadzor, decision 2024-10-19-5853-СОБ, dated 24 November 2024.

On 2 December 2024 the shop announced a mirror, px6.me, for buyers "who cannot open the main site". That domain had been registered in April 2017. In June 2026 the shop moved its API to px6.link, then wrote: "Our previous domain has been blocked. The service is now available at the new address: px6.net."

On 11 October 2026 px6.me forwarded to px6.net, and proxy6.net still answered outside Russia.

2026: PROXY SIX alone, and Telegram proxies

In spring 2026 INHOST left the Requisites page. The English version named only PROXY SIX LLC by 29 April 2026, and the Russian version by 4 May. It is the first time the page names only the company registered under the shop's own name.

The product changed in the same months. On 11 February 2026 the channel reported that Roskomnadzor was restricting Telegram in Russia, and on 26 March that Telegram connections through SOCKS5 proxies were failing for many users. On 31 March the shop launched MTProto proxies, a type made for Telegram, in test mode.

Through 2026 it added a Telegram bot for buying proxies, its own Android app as a download from the site, and support through Telegram. In the twelve months to August 2026, searches for "proxy6" peaked in March, at 33,100, by Google's Keyword Planner.

Its own address space

In 2017 its addresses came from data centres, and in July 2017 one of them withdrew a set of its networks. The RIPE database now shows a footprint of its own. On 11 October 2026, 68 address blocks named "PROXY6 LLC" as their user, from Russia and Poland to Singapore and India.

None of them is an allocation to PROXY6 LLC itself, since it is not a registry member. Its record is kept by the 2018 company's registry account, and 12 of the blocks were entered by the 2005 company's. One block of 2,048 addresses carries the Elektrostal office in its description.

In court and in filings

We found no court case that names Proxy6 or its companies. CourtListener, which indexes US federal courts, returned three hits for "proxy6", and all three were the word "proxy" followed by a footnote number. Russia's arbitration court index refused our server and our office alike, so Russian commercial courts were not searched.

Fedresurs, Russia's register of company notices, lists one notice: the "unreliability of information" about the 2018 Internet Tekhnologii, published on 3 September 2022. The one decision by an authority we found is Roskomnadzor's block of 24 November 2024.

What Proxy6 sells today, in short

The shop rents datacenter addresses one at a time. On 11 October 2026 one IPv6 address cost $0.258 for a month and $0.037 for three days, falling to $0.084 a month from 500 addresses. One IPv4 address cost $1.50 a month and a shared one, used by up to three buyers, $0.413. An MTProto proxy cost $1.125. IPv4 and IPv6 proxies work over HTTPS and SOCKS5 at once.

One address for a month, smallest order, in US dollars. line chart over 10 points: IPv4, individual, IPv6.

In rubles, a month of IPv4 went from 69.90 in 2020 to 99 in 2021 and 120 by June 2025. A month of IPv6 cost 27 rubles in June 2016 and 20.66 in June 2026.

The FAQ offers a one-day money-back guarantee, but not once the shop detects that the proxies were used, and none for shared proxies. The Russian agreement gives one hour to withdraw. Port 25 is closed, PayPal does not work and Steam is blocked. IPv6 proxies run through a tunnel: the buyer connects over IPv4, and sites see the IPv6 address. The FAQ quotes 10 Mbit/s for IPv4 and 30 Mbit/s for IPv6.

The agreement also says the Administrator will hand a user's data to "competent national and foreign authorities" on request, "without any notice to the User and without their consent". On sourcing, the shop speaks only of networks in data centres; it claims no residential or mobile addresses. The full price tables are on our Proxy6 alternatives page, and the two address types are compared in our IPv4 and IPv6 guide.

What customers report over time

The archive kept two copies of Proxy6's Trustpilot page. In August 2021 the score stood at 2.2 from 45 reviews. In June 2025 it stood at 1.3 from 93, with 81% of the reviews at one star and the profile unclaimed.

Proxy6's Trustpilot score, out of 5. line chart over 2 points: TrustScore.

The complaints repeat across both copies: addresses that locate to another country than the one bought, long outages and refused refunds. In 2021 some reviewers also reported card payments that failed, and a few were satisfied and said so.

The shop's own counters point the other way. Its homepage claimed 20,112 customers in June 2017, 563,305 in September 2023 and 1,068,913 on 11 October 2026, with 42 million proxies sold. Between 1 January and 10 July 2026 the customer counter rose by 184,032, more than twice the largest rise in any earlier interval we read.

Customers the homepage claims, in millions. line chart over 10 points: customers who have "chosen us", the shop's counter.

Its Telegram channel had 14,467 subscribers on 11 October 2026. It posted 115 times in 2025, more than in any earlier year.

Is Proxy6 legit?

By the records, the shop is a real and long-running business. It has traded under one name since June 2016. Its named seller is a registered Russian company that files accounts and paid taxes for 2025, and the firms around it have been RIPE members since 2016 and 2021.

What a buyer does not get is a seller named in the contract. The agreement binds a buyer to "the Administration of the site". The Requisites page has named three different sellers since April 2023, for a time two at once. For about two years its English version named only an Uzbek company, whose owners we could not find in any register open to us. Inside Russia the main site has been blocked since November 2024.

If you are looking elsewhere

  • If the seller's name matters to you, check the terms before paying. HProxy's terms name Obsidian UG (haftungsbeschränkt) and German law; Proxy6's agreement names neither a company nor a law.
  • If you need datacenter addresses one by one, HProxy's IPv4 addresses cost $1.58 per IP and its IPv6 addresses $0.10 per IP, for a month each. More options are compared on the Proxy6 alternatives page.
  • If you already own proxies and want to test them, our free proxy checker needs no account and works with any seller's HTTP or SOCKS proxies.

What we could not find out

  1. Which company sold Proxy6's proxies from 2016 to 2023. The Requisites page named none until April 2023. The 2018 Internet Tekhnologii published its app and carries its phone number in RIPE, but no record says it was the seller.
  2. Who owns INHOST MCHJ. Uzbekistan's register asks for a state login, and its older lookup did not answer from our server or our office.
  3. Which company a buyer contracts with. The agreement names "the Administration" and no law, and the Requisites page is not part of it.
  4. What the Russian courts hold. Russia's arbitration index refused us, and the Russian trademark office was not searched.
  5. Whether the mirrors are blocked too. The public copy of the register we read ends on 1 October 2025.
  6. Who holds the payment accounts. The posts name Robokassa, Payze and WebMoney, and an app note names Stripe, but none names the merchant.

We bought no Proxy6 proxy and ran no test of one; this page rests on records alone. Prices, mirrors and the Requisites page change often, so we will read them all again by 11 January 2027.

Frequently asked questions

What is px6.me?
It is a mirror of Proxy6. The shop announced px6.me on 2 December 2024 for buyers who could not open proxy6.net, after Russia's regulator blocked the main site with a decision dated 24 November 2024. On 11 October 2026 px6.me forwarded to px6.net, the address the shop has named since June 2026.
Why is Proxy6 not working?
Inside Russia, proxy6.net has been on the register of blocked sites since 24 November 2024, and in June 2026 the shop said its previous domain was blocked as well and moved to px6.net. Outside Russia, proxy6.net answered normally when we checked on 11 October 2026.
Does Proxy6 have a proxy checker?
Yes. Its site carries a free proxy checker, a my-IP page, a whois lookup, an anonymity check, a blacklist check and a port scanner, and its API has a method to check a proxy. Our own free proxy checker tests HTTP and SOCKS proxies from any seller.
Does Proxy6 have coupon codes?
Yes. Its Telegram channel posts limited coupons several times a year, usually 5 to 20% off a purchase or a renewal, such as one with 12% off all proxy types in August 2026. Its partner programme pays partners 30% of what the buyers they bring in spend.
What do customers say about Proxy6?
On Trustpilot the profile stood at 2.2 from 45 reviews in August 2021 and at 1.3 from 93 reviews in June 2025, by archived copies of the page. The common complaints are addresses that locate to another country than the one bought, outages and refused refunds.
