Shared proxy
A proxy whose IP address is used by more than one customer at the same time, cheaper than a dedicated address but with reputation you do not fully control.
A shared proxy splits one address across several customers. It is the budget option, and for undemanding work it is perfectly rational, you are paying less precisely because you are not the only person using the IP.
The risk lives in that sharing. An address is only as trusted as everything done through it, and on a shared IP that includes other people's traffic. If someone else triggers a block or lands the address on a reputation list, you inherit the consequence without having caused it.
This is the core reason dedicated addresses cost more: not better hardware, but sole responsibility for the reputation. When a task actually depends on a clean history, sharing is a false economy.
