Most people who search for Pokemon Center proxies either got blocked by the store or want to know whether a VPN or a proxy helps. This page answers from what the store showed our server and from its own help pages and terms. The short answer: Pokemon Center sits behind a bot check from Imperva, its help pages ask shoppers to turn VPNs off, and its terms bar robots and any attempt to get around its checks. A proxy is not a way in.
What Pokemon Center showed our server
We sent plain requests from our server in St. Louis on 27 and 28 September 2026, with a browser user agent and no JavaScript.

None of these requests reached the shop. The 403 answers carried the header X-CDN: Imperva, and the script of the bot check page names Imperva. Imperva sells security for websites, including bot protection meant to "Stop sophisticated bots". That answers the searches for Pokemon Center and Imperva. We did not try to get past the check.
The bot check page is titled Pardon Our Interruption. It says: "As you were browsing something about your browser made us think you were a bot". The reasons it lists are JavaScript or cookies switched off, a browser plugin that stops JavaScript, or moving through the site "with super-human speed". Its own advice is short: "To regain access, please make sure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled before reloading the page".
If the store blocks you
Searches ask why Pokemon Center blocked an IP address, and about access denied errors 15 and 17. The help articles we read do not mention those codes, and our requests did not get them, so this page does not guess what they mean. The FAQ for the 30th Celebration launch lists four steps for access problems.
- "Turn off your VPN if you are using one".
- Clear the cache and cookies of your browser.
- Try again with a different browser or device.
- Try a different internet connection, such as mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
It adds that on busy days some customers may have access problems that neither its team nor customer support can solve.
VPNs, proxies and the queue
The virtual queue page lists "Refrain from using a VPN." among its steps for technical issues, next to "Only shop within your region". Pokemon Center "uses a virtual queue to access the site in order to help keep everyone browsing and shopping smoothly".
In the queue, keep the window open: "Do not refresh your browser or move away from the page". Pokemon Center redirects you to the site when it is your turn. Extra tabs, other links or "attempting any workarounds will not help you bypass the virtual queue". Also, "Waiting in line does not guarantee product availability". Customer support does not answer questions about the queue.
The terms: personal use, limits and bots
The terms of use for the US and Canada were last updated on 17 April 2026. They allow purchases "for personal use" and may limit quantities "per order, per account, per credit card, per person, or per household". Pokemon Center may also refuse service or reject any order. The same terms bar three things that bot tools do.
- Anything that would "bypass or circumvent measures employed to prevent or limit access".
- Apps that interact with the store without written consent.
- Data mining, robots or scraping.
The queue page asks you to keep the purchase limits shown on each product page. Early Access invitations go to some newsletter subscribers. More subscriptions or email addresses do not raise the odds, and such actions "may result in the invitation being voided".
Six stores, one region each
The Pokemon Company International runs Pokemon Center websites for the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, with no physical store in those regions. The help pages and the terms say where some of them ship and which accounts they share.

The US terms also ask for a billing and shipping address in the United States or Canada. One launch FAQ asks for "your own trusted and accurate address rather than an alternate or forwarding address". Pokemon Center Online in Japan is run apart from the other six; our page on proxies for Pokemon TCG covers it, along with the tournament rules on proxy cards.
So an address in another country does not open another store. The store you can buy from follows where you live and ship to.

Nothing on this page routes Pokemon Center traffic through a proxy, because the store asks you to turn VPNs off and bars bots. The limits of this page
We made plain requests without JavaScript, from one server in the United States. A normal browser may see something else. We did not log in, join a queue, buy anything, or test whether the store detects a VPN or a proxy. The terms were read from an Internet Archive copy of 29 June 2026, because the live page answered with the bot check. This page is due for a check by 28 December 2026.
