LinkedIn does not offer a CSV or XLS export from Sales Navigator. On the Advanced Plus plan, CRM Sync links your leads and accounts with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot or Oracle Sales instead. LinkedIn's User Agreement forbids software that scrapes profiles and other data. Its help names browser add-ons among the tools it does not permit. A proxy does not change any of this.
What Sales Navigator lets you take out
LinkedIn's help answers the export question in one sentence: LinkedIn does not offer "the option to export account and lead information from Sales Navigator into a CSV or XLS file". It then points to the Advanced Plus plan, where the CRM tools live:
| what you want | what LinkedIn offers |
|---|---|
| a CSV or XLS file | Not offered. |
| leads synced with a CRM | CRM Sync on Advanced Plus, with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot or Oracle Sales, updated in real time. |
| a new lead in the CRM | On Advanced Plus, add a record to your CRM from a Sales Navigator lead page. |
| LinkedIn data inside the CRM | Embedded Profiles for HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle Sales, Salesforce and other partners. |
The CRM page adds that all of this is "only available for Sales Navigator Advanced Plus users". You start with the app package for your CRM. CRM Sync then imports the accounts and contacts tied to the people in your CRM. It can also write select data back.
What LinkedIn's terms say about scrapers and extensions
LinkedIn's User Agreement took effect on 3 November 2025. Its list of "Don'ts" applies unless LinkedIn allows it "in a separate writing", such as a research agreement. Two of them decide this question:
| rule | what the User Agreement says |
|---|---|
| scraping | Do not develop, support or use software, scripts, robots "or any other means or processes", such as crawlers, browser plugins and add-ons, "to scrape or copy the Services, including profiles and other data from the Services". |
| automation | Do not use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, or to add or download contacts. |
LinkedIn can restrict, suspend or terminate an account that breaks the terms. Its help page on banned software spells it out. LinkedIn does not permit "crawlers", bots, browser plug-ins or browser extensions that scrape or automate activity on its site. Members who use them risk having their accounts restricted or shut down. The tools themselves "may become non-operational without notice".
What robots.txt says
The robots.txt file opens with a notice: "The use of robots or other automated means to access LinkedIn without the express permission of LinkedIn is strictly prohibited." It adds that LinkedIn may permit some automated access "for the limited purpose of including content in approved publicly available search engines". The file gives an email address to apply. It ends with a group for every crawler it does not name, and that group disallows the whole site.
The scraper extensions that rank
Google's suggestions show the demand: "linkedin sales navigator scraper chrome extension" and "sales navigator export to csv". The add-on page we read promises a one-click export of a lead list. LinkedIn names add-ons that scrape among the tools it does not permit.
One proxy seller recommends static proxies for "Sales Navigator search and lead-list pulls". The same page says that scraping signed-in Sales Navigator "explicitly violates LinkedIn's user agreement".
Where a proxy fits
For exporting or scraping Sales Navigator, a proxy does not fit. It changes the address a request comes from, not what LinkedIn's terms allow. The same list of Don'ts also forbids you to "bypass or circumvent any access controls or use limits of the Services". The routes LinkedIn offers for leads are CRM Sync and Embedded Profiles on Advanced Plus.
For other work where a proxy is allowed, what a residential proxy is explains the type. How to check if a proxy is working shows how to test one. Residential traffic without city targeting starts at $0.44/GB, and every plan is on our pricing page.
The limits of this page
We read LinkedIn's help pages, its User Agreement and its robots.txt as text, from our server on 3 October 2026. We did not open Sales Navigator, which needs a paid seat. We did not test any add-on either. LinkedIn changes its plans and their CRM links over time. This page is due for a check by 4 January 2027.
