Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Residential proxies

The market PickAProxy trades in has a wide honesty range. Some vendors publish every tier, some publish a starting rate that nobody reaches, and a few publish nothing at all. Knowing which kind you are looking at is half the decision.

The record we hold

PickAProxy operates from pickaproxy.com.

PickAProxy is not in our priced record, so nothing about their rate appears below. That gap is stated rather than filled, which is the only honest option available.

Copy down the entry rate, the commitment attached to the cheapest rate, the minimum top-up and the expiry rule. Those four turn a marketing figure into something you can compare.

How PickAProxy presents itself

Read 9 September 2026, the homepage titles itself "Proxy Reviews - PickAProxy". Their meta description, the sentence Google shows under the link, says: "ProxyMatch from PickAProxy: Find a proxy provider you will fall in love with. Reviews, Resources and Tutorials galore!"

What else that page states, without interpretation:

The product lines named on that page are residential and datacenter. Payment methods mentioned: PayPal, crypto and cards. We found no separate pricing page linked from the homepage, which usually means the price arrives by quotation.

That is the vendor speaking, not us. We print it because a claim with a date attached is at least falsifiable.

What the registration record shows

The domain was registered on 22 February 2024, through GoDaddy.com, LLC, which makes it about 2 years old. That record was read from the registry on 9 September 2026. The registry shows it renewed to 22 February 2027.

Read that as a floor rather than a recommendation. Longevity says somebody has kept paying the registrar, and in a market with this much churn that is worth ten seconds of your attention.

The shape of their site

Our own crawl reached 31 of their pages, last run 19 June 2026. The mix was 6 blog pages.

That mix tells you how the company sells. Heavy location pages mean a geography-led pitch, heavy blog means a search-led one, and a single pricing page usually means one simple offer or one sales call.

The activity record

Our crawl of their site found 30 pages carrying a date. The oldest is from October 2024 and the newest from November 2024.

The most recent date on the site is more than twelve months old. Sites do go quiet without the service going with them, but a year of silence is worth one email to support before you fund an account.

The parts no marketing page answers

What happens when it breaks at two in the morning

Test the support channel before you need it. Ask something specific and technical, and judge both the speed and whether the answer came from somebody who understood the question.

Why a cheap address is often a used one

A shared address arrives with a history you did not create and cannot see. For read-only work it rarely matters. For anything that keeps a session, it is the most common cause of unexplained failure.

Who pays for the requests that fail

Some vendors bill every request, some bill only successful ones, and the difference is the whole comparison once a target starts blocking. A cheap rate with a fifty percent success rate is twice its advertised price.

Side by side, with the blanks left blank

This is the shortest table that still decides the purchase:

Does unused balance expire? On their own terms pageNever

Nothing in that table settles the decision on its own. It narrows the field to two or three, and then measurement finishes the job.

How to settle it yourself in ten minutes

Run this before you commit any volume. It replaces every opinion on this page, including ours.

  1. Buy the minimum each side offers. Prefer a small paid batch over a trial, because trial traffic does not always ride the same pool.
  2. Send an identical workload through each: same target, same tooling, same time of day, same request mix.
  3. Measure what came back correctly and what it consumed, then divide the spend by the successes.
  4. Push a sample of exit addresses through an independent checker and confirm the country and connection type are what was advertised.
  5. Keep whichever pool won on your job. Re-run this whenever success rate drops or the bill moves.

Others in this market

Nearest alternatives by product shape rather than by who pays us, since nobody does:

The competing offer, for completeness

We are the pay as you go option in this market. Residential from $0.44 per GB, ISP and datacenter per address, mobile alongside them, all from one balance with nothing to forfeit. That model wins on irregular volume and loses on very large steady volume, which is worth knowing before you test.

Frequently asked questions

Why look for a PickAProxy alternative at all?
The usual reasons any buyer compares two providers: the pricing model stopped fitting the usage pattern, a target started blocking, a specific country underperformed, a balance expired, or support went quiet. None of those is visible from a marketing page, which is why a small paid test on your own target settles it faster than any review.
What does PickAProxy advertise?
We do not hold a current, sourced price for PickAProxy, so this page does not print one. Read their own pricing page for the rate, the minimum and the commitment, and note the date you read it, because all three move.
How do I compare two providers fairly?
Match the units first, because residential is billed per gigabyte, datacenter and ISP per address, and mobile per day or per port. Then compare the rate you can actually reach today rather than the volume tier behind a commitment. Finish by measuring the success rate on your own target, since a cheap request that fails costs more than a dearer one that works.
Is a cheaper provider usually worse?
Not reliably. Price in this market reflects the supply model and the sales overhead as much as the network. What price does not tell you is the success rate on your target, and that is the figure that decides whether the cheaper option was cheap or expensive. Measure before assuming either way.
How often should I re-test a provider?
Quarterly is a reasonable rhythm for most workloads, and immediately after a noticeable drop in success rate. Pools are rebuilt, suppliers change and detection improves, so a benchmark from last year describes a network that no longer exists.

Proxies that don't die mid-job

Residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile, verified by the same engine that runs tens of millions of checks. They read as a real device and hold up under load. Pay as you go, and your balance never expires. $0.44/GB is the 2,000 GB+ rate; a single gigabyte is $0.50/GB, with no minimum order.
