We compete with HexProxy, so treat every line below as coming from an interested party. What follows is the record we hold, the questions their marketing page does not answer, and a test you can run yourself that outranks this page and every other review.
Everything we can stand behind
Their site is hexproxy.com.
We have no verified current rate for HexProxy on file. Printing a guess would make this page worse than useless, so the price row below is empty and the reading list is not.
When you do read it, note four things: the rate you actually qualify for today, the minimum purchase, whether unused balance expires, and whether failed requests are billed. Those four decide the real cost more than the headline does.
The site, as it reads today
The title tag on 9 September 2026 was "Hex Proxies - Residential and ISP Proxies, 99.9% Uptime Target". Their meta description, the sentence Google shows under the link, says: "Residential proxies from 150+ countries. ISP proxies on Comcast, Frontier, Windstream and RCN across Ashburn VA, New York and San Francisco. 99.9% uptime target, instant activation."
Reading the same page for the things buyers actually ask about:
The product lines named on that page are residential, ISP or static residential and SOCKS5. They advertise 150 countries or locations. Payment methods mentioned: crypto and cards. The page offers some form of free trial. Support is advertised as around the clock. A refund or money-back term is mentioned. Their pricing page is titled "Pricing - Hex Proxies, Residential and ISP Proxy Plans".
That is the vendor speaking, not us. We print it because a claim with a date attached is at least falsifiable.
Age, and why it matters here
The domain was registered on 1 April 2018, through Squarespace Domains II LLC, which makes it about 8 years old. Checked against the registry on 23 April 2026. The registration currently runs to 1 April 2027.
None of it predicts success rate. It is here because domain age and archive depth are free to check, and a provider whose public record starts last quarter deserves a smaller first order.
What you still do not know after reading their site
Ask what happens to unused balance
Find out whether unspent traffic rolls over, expires, or expires only on some plans. The answer changes the effective rate by more than most of the price differences buyers spend their time arguing about.
The rate behind the sales call
The lowest published rate in this market usually sits behind a monthly commitment measured in thousands. Quoting it beside a pay as you go rate is not a comparison. Compare the rate you can reach today.
The limit that stops the job
A plan with generous traffic and a low thread limit is a slow plan. Find both numbers before you size anything, because the smaller of the two is your actual ceiling.
The two of us, on the questions that matter
Here are the comparisons that survive contact with a real workload:
| Question to ask | HexProxy | HProxy |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Not verified by us, read their page | From $0.44/GB, pay as you go |
| Does unused balance expire? | Their terms page answers this | Never |
| Minimum commitment | Worth confirming in writing before you commit | None |
| Identity checks | Read their current terms | Card orders are screened, and verification is sometimes requested |
| Targeting | Worth confirming in writing before you commit | Country, city and ISP |
| Free way to evaluate | Read their current terms | Free proxy list and proxy checker |
Treat the right-hand column as a claim by an interested party, because it is one. Every line in it is checkable on our own pages and in our own terms.
What to do instead of reading more comparisons
The steps below take about ten minutes and settle the question properly.
- Fund both accounts with the least money each will accept, and note what that minimum was, because it is part of the comparison.
- Aim both at the page that matters to you rather than a test endpoint, and keep every other variable fixed.
- Record the success rate and the data consumed for the identical batch on each side.
- Check some of the addresses yourself for country, ASN and type before you trust the label on the plan.
- Keep the winner, and repeat the whole thing quarterly, because pools age.
The rest of the shortlist
Buyers comparing this name usually have two or three of these open in other tabs:
- Germanproxy alternatives
- GetProxy alternatives
- GhostBrowser alternatives
- GlobalByte alternatives
- Globalproxies alternatives
- Glorycloud alternatives
Where we fit
For completeness: residential from $0.44 per GB, city and ISP targeting included, no monthly minimum, and a balance that stays where you left it. We are a good fit for uneven workloads and a poor one for anybody who wants a signed enterprise agreement.
