GetProxy alternatives: what to check before you switch

Comparing a GetProxy alternative? The published numbers, the questions their pricing page leaves open, and a ten minute test that beats every review.

Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Residential proxies

Nothing here is a hit piece. GetProxy has customers who are well served by it, and this page says which ones. It also says where we think the model costs a buyer money.

What we can and cannot tell you about GetProxy

The company behind the name sits at getproxy.io.

What we do not hold is a current, sourced price for GetProxy. Rather than print a figure we cannot stand behind, this page leaves it out and tells you what to look for when you read their page yourself.

Read their page for the reachable rate rather than the headline, the minimum spend, the expiry clause and the billing treatment of blocked requests. Write down the date, because all four move.

What GetProxy says about itself today

As of 9 September 2026 the tab reads "Купить прокси, купить серверные и мобильные прокси, резидентные и арбитражные прокси купить, прокси Авито, HTTP(s), Socks5, IPv4, IPv6, proxy сервер, GetProxy". In the description they hand to search engines: "Купить персональные, индивидуальные и анонимные прокси. Мобильные, серверные, арбитражные, резидентные, IPv4, IPv6 прокси. HTTP(s), Socks5 прокси. Прокcи для Авито. Прокси для социальных сетей. Прокси дешево"

Reading the same page for the things buyers actually ask about:

The product lines named on that page are SOCKS5 and IPv6. Their pricing page is titled "Купить прокси, GetProxy".

Those are claims, and claims are free. They earn their place here only because the date makes them checkable later.

The domain record

The domain was registered on 13 May 2022, through Registrar of Domain Names REG.RU LLC, which makes it about 4 years old. Those dates come from a registry query on 23 April 2026. Their registration is booked through 13 May 2027.

Read that as a floor rather than a recommendation. Longevity says somebody has kept paying the registrar, and in a market with this much churn that is worth ten seconds of your attention.

How much site there is

A crawl of 208 pages returned 11 blog pages.

That mix tells you how the company sells. Heavy location pages mean a geography-led pitch, heavy blog means a search-led one, and a single pricing page usually means one simple offer or one sales call.

Signs of life

Our crawl of their site found 208 pages carrying a date. The oldest is from August 2026 and the newest from August 2026. 208 of them carry a date inside the last twelve months.

An actively maintained site is table stakes rather than a recommendation. It does rule out the failure that costs buyers the most here, which is prepaying a company that has quietly stopped.

Where published figures stop being useful

The expiry question

Find out whether unspent traffic rolls over, expires, or expires only on some plans. The answer changes the effective rate by more than most of the price differences buyers spend their time arguing about.

What the lowest rate actually costs

Treat a required call with a salesperson as a cost. It delays the work, it usually arrives with an annual term attached, and it exists because the published price is negotiable in one direction only.

What actually caps your throughput

Bandwidth is rarely the constraint on a real workload. Concurrent connections, requests per second and per-session caps are, and they are frequently buried in the documentation rather than the pricing page.

A comparison that admits what it cannot say

The rows below are the ones that change what you pay and whether the job runs:

Question to askGetProxyHProxy
Entry priceNot verified by us, read their pageFrom $0.44/GB, pay as you go
Does unused balance expire?Check the current terms, this one movesNever
Minimum commitmentNot published clearly, ask before payingNone

That comparison covers what is publishable. What is not publishable, and what actually decides this, is how many of your requests come back correct.

A test worth more than this comparison

Do this once and you will never need a comparison page for this decision again.

  1. Open an account on each and add the smallest amount they take. Skip the trial if a paid unit is cheap enough to buy outright.
  2. Point both at your real target, through your real tool, on the same day, with the same mix of requests.
  3. Log successes, failures and gigabytes used. Cost per successful request is the figure you are after.
  4. Verify a slice of the exits independently. Country labels in this market are self-reported and are not always right.
  5. Buy the one that won on your target, and diarise a re-test in three months.

Others in this market

Nearest alternatives by product shape rather than by who pays us, since nobody does:

Where HProxy sits in that test

We sell residential proxies from $0.44 per GB with no subscription and a balance that does not expire, plus ISP, mobile and datacenter in the same account. That is the pitch, and the test above is a better judge of it than this paragraph.

Frequently asked questions

How do I compare two providers fairly?
Match the units first, because residential is billed per gigabyte, datacenter and ISP per address, and mobile per day or per port. Then compare the rate you can actually reach today rather than the volume tier behind a commitment. Finish by measuring the success rate on your own target, since a cheap request that fails costs more than a dearer one that works.
How is HProxy different?
The models differ more than the products do. HProxy is pay as you go from a balance you top up when you want, the balance does not expire, there is no subscription unless the optional discount suits you, and residential starts at $0.44 per GB with city and ISP targeting included. Whether that beats a tiered plan depends on your usage pattern, which a short test settles.
Do I have to talk to sales or sign a contract to switch?
Not with us. You can sign up, add funds and send traffic without a call, a minimum or a subscription. Whether another provider requires any of those is on their own pricing page and is worth reading, because a required commitment is part of the price even when it is not part of the rate.
How often should I re-test a provider?
Quarterly is a reasonable rhythm for most workloads, and immediately after a noticeable drop in success rate. Pools are rebuilt, suppliers change and detection improves, so a benchmark from last year describes a network that no longer exists.
Does a bigger pool mean better results?
No. Your job meets only the exits it draws, in the countries it needs, against one target's defences. Freshness and rotation policy move the outcome far more than the headline total, and pool totals across this market are counted generously and rarely audited.

Proxies that don't die mid-job

Residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile, verified by the same engine that runs tens of millions of checks. They read as a real device and hold up under load. Pay as you go, and your balance never expires. $0.44/GB is the 2,000 GB+ rate; a single gigabyte is $0.50/GB, with no minimum order.
