If you are comparing Free Proxy against anything else, the first thing to fix is units. A per-gigabyte rate against a per-address rate is not a comparison, and half the free proxy list market prices in a different unit to the other half.
What is on file for Free Proxy
Their site is free-proxy.cz. Category, as we track it: free proxy list.
We price the providers we can source and date, and Free Proxy is not currently one of them. The rest of this page is about what to check when you read their pricing yourself.
Find the rate available with no commitment, then find the cheapest rate and what it costs to reach. The distance between those two tells you what kind of vendor you are dealing with.
How far back the record goes
The domain was registered on 31 December 2012, which makes it about 13 years old. The lookup behind those dates ran on 9 September 2026. As things stand the domain is held to 30 December 2026.
None of it predicts success rate. It is here because domain age and archive depth are free to check, and a provider whose public record starts last quarter deserves a smaller first order.
Who actually runs Free Proxy
We checked this one by hand on 6 September 2026. It is a list, and we record the operator as independent. We could not settle its status with confidence, which is itself worth knowing before relying on it. Evidence recorded: https no answer; http 401.
As far as we can establish it is run independently rather than by a proxy vendor. That usually means it survives on advertising, which shapes the site rather than the data.
The Internet Archive has it from 20 May 2013 to 20 May 2013, about 1 years of coverage. The domain was registered 31 December 2012.
The number that matters, and that no list page prints, is how many entries still work. Ours is public: 589918 addresses discovered, 4023 alive at the last check, median lifespan 145 hours. Apply that decay to any undated list you are reading.
What people actually search about Free Proxy
Worldwide, the brand carries about 10 searches a month: 10 a month for a review of them. Figures read from Google Keyword Planner on 9 September 2026.
The largest share is people checking whether to trust it, which is the honest starting point for a page like this one.
What a pricing page leaves out
Networks age, so re-test quarterly
Pools are rebuilt, suppliers change and detection improves. A provider that beat the field last spring may be mid-table now. Nothing in this market stays true long enough to buy once and stop measuring.
Ten million addresses, and none of them yours
Nobody audits pool totals in this market, and the counting rules differ between vendors. Even an accurate figure describes addresses that exist, not addresses you will be routed through. Treat it as a marketing unit rather than a capability.
Why a cheap address is often a used one
Ask how many accounts can sit on one address at once. Where the answer is unlimited or unspecified, price the plan as shared regardless of what the product is called.
The rows that decide it
Here are the comparisons that survive contact with a real workload:
| Question to ask | Free Proxy | HProxy |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Not verified by us, read their page | From $0.44/GB, pay as you go |
| Does unused balance expire? | Not published clearly, ask before paying | Never |
| Minimum commitment | Check the current terms, this one moves | None |
| Identity checks | Their terms page answers this | Card orders are screened, and verification is sometimes requested |
| Targeting | Check the current terms, this one moves | Country, city and ISP |
| Free way to evaluate | Their terms page answers this | Free proxy list and proxy checker |
A table like this can rank the things that are written down. It cannot rank the thing that matters most, which is how the network behaves against the site you care about.
The measurement that outranks every review
This costs less than a coffee and produces the only evidence that applies to your workload.
- Put a few dollars on each account. Trials are fine for a first look, but paid traffic is what you will actually be buying.
- Run them against the site you actually care about, using the code you actually run, within the same hour.
- Track the success rate and the bandwidth. A cheap gigabyte that fails half the time is not cheap.
- Run a sample of the addresses through an independent lookup, because advertised geography and actual geography differ more often than the market admits.
- Choose on the measurement, not the marketing, and expect the answer to change within a year.
The rest of the shortlist
Buyers comparing this name usually have two or three of these open in other tabs:
- Socks 24 alternatives
- Socks-Proxy.net alternatives
- Spys.me alternatives
- SSLProxies alternatives
- TheSpeedX PROXY-List (GitHub) alternatives
- Unblockvideos alternatives
Our own position
Our end of it is a wallet, four proxy types and no contract. Residential begins at $0.44 per GB and the balance does not expire. The free proxy list and checker are open to anyone, and they are the fastest way to see how we treat measurement before you spend anything.
