PerimeterX, and no API to fall back on
Zillow sits behind PerimeterX, now part of HUMAN Security, which serves the Press-and-Hold human-verification page and returns HTTP 403 when traffic looks automated. And there is no public Zillow API for general listing data, so unlike some targets there is no sanctioned shortcut: this work is scraping the public site or nothing.
PerimeterX reads several signals at once, IP type and reputation, the JA3/JA4 TLS fingerprint, HTTP/2 and header order, a JavaScript runtime fingerprint and behavioural pacing, which is why a clean US residential IP is necessary but has to be driven by something that looks like a real browser.

A residential IP clears reputation and geography and nothing else. It does nothing for a client that announces itself with a default library user-agent, drops its cookies between requests, or moves with the tell-tale regularity of a script, which is exactly what PerimeterX is built to read. US addresses matter for both access and accuracy: a request from another country is more suspicious and sometimes geo-restricted.
