PerimeterX scores the address before it reads the request
This is why volume tuning does not rescue a datacenter pool here. The reputation check happens on the IP, ahead of anything you do with headers, timing or concurrency, so a well-behaved scraper on a bad address still gets stopped and a crude one on a clean address often does not.
It also means the fix for being blocked is usually not more sophistication. It is a different exit.
