Buy Shopify proxies. Speed or camouflage, not both.

Shopify is not one target, it is thousands of stores with wildly different defences. The right product depends on whether you are racing the clock or avoiding a bot check.

The store decides the product, not the platform

Two Shopify stores can sit at opposite ends of the difficulty scale. An undefended one will hand you products.json without a fight, and paying for residential to read it is money burned. A hyped release running commercial bot protection will filter datacenter addresses before your request is considered.

So the question to answer before buying is not what works on Shopify, it is what that store is running. Checking is a minute of work and it changes the answer completely.

One sticky IP per checkout task

A checkout is a session: cart, details, payment. An address that rotates halfway through is a session that changes identity mid-transaction, which is exactly the pattern fraud systems are built to catch. Whatever product you pick, the address has to hold for the whole task.

That is why raw rotating pools underperform on drops even when the pool is large and residential. The size was never the problem.

FAQ

Shopify proxy questions, answered

What proxies work best for Shopify drops?

ISP or residential with one sticky IP per checkout task. ISP when the release is a speed race, residential when the store is defended enough that blending in matters more than arriving first.

Can I use datacenter proxies on Shopify?

On undefended stores, yes, and it is much cheaper. On a hyped release with bot protection, no.

Why does my rotating pool fail at checkout?

Because a checkout is one session. An address that changes partway through looks like a hijacked session regardless of how clean the pool is.
