Buy Reddit proxies. One sticky IP per account.

Reddit ties identity to the IP address harder than most sites. It links accounts that share one, so what you are buying is separation: a clean address per account that nothing else of yours touches.

Residential, sticky
Reads as a normal home user, where Reddit distrusts hosting ranges on sight. The default for logins, posting and running accounts, one held address each.
Mobile 4G and 5G
The highest trust Reddit gives. Carriers put thousands of real people behind each address, so Reddit is reluctant to ban it. For accounts that keep getting flagged.
Static ISP
One address that never changes, with residential reputation at datacenter speed. For an account that should always appear from the same place.

Rotating IPs does not lift the API limit

The site and the unauthenticated .json endpoints throttle per IP, which is exactly what a rotating pool spreads. The official Data API throttles per OAuth client instead: 100 queries a minute with OAuth, 10 without, averaged over ten minutes and reported in the X-Ratelimit headers. That limit follows the client ID, so more addresses do not raise it.

So size the pool for the door you use. Rotate residential for public pages and JSON, and stay under the ceiling on the API. Past that ceiling the answer is an agreement with Reddit, not more proxies.

Accounts stay put, scrapers rotate

An account should log in from one address, always. A rotating exit makes a login jump cities between clicks, which looks like a stolen account and earns a security check or a lockout. Two accounts on one address get linked, so a ban for one can follow the other.

The address is one layer. Reddit also weighs account age, behaviour and the browser fingerprint, and it can shadowban a new account: it posts, everything looks normal to you, and nobody else sees a word. Warm accounts up, keep one browser profile per account, and never put a fresh account on an address a banned one used.

FAQ

Reddit proxy questions, answered

What proxy works best for Reddit?

Residential for account work, because Reddit flags datacenter ranges and a home address reads as a normal user. Mobile for accounts that keep getting flagged, since thousands of real people share each carrier address.

How many proxies do I need for several Reddit accounts?

One clean, sticky address per account. Reddit links accounts that share an IP, so a shared proxy can take every linked account down at once for ban evasion.

Should Reddit proxies be sticky or rotating?

Sticky for accounts, so each one logs in from one stable address. Rotating for scraping public pages at volume, to stay under the per-IP limit.

Will a proxy stop my Reddit account from being banned?

No. It removes one big risk signal, a flagged IP. Reddit also weighs behaviour, account age, the browser fingerprint and email verification, so warm accounts up and act like a person.
