The place
Where Al Waqīr sits
Al Waqīr is the 206th-largest listed city in Al Mahwit Governorate and the 19759th-largest in Yemen.
It sits 60 km west of Sanaa, in the north of Al Mahwit Governorate, up at 1,864 m.
Local clocks run on Aden time (Asia/Aden).

When an exit in Al Waqīr is worth asking for
What an exit in Al Waqīr buys you over any other Yemen address is locality, not identity. A site that only reads the country treats Al Waqīr and Sanaa identically, and the great majority of geo-checks work exactly that way.
The difference shows up on local questions: search results with a map pack, stock in nearby stores, delivery windows, prices that vary by area. For those, request Al Waqīr. For everything else a plain Yemen exit does the same job with none of the supply constraints.
City-level residential supply moves week to week everywhere, ours included. If nothing is live in Al Waqīr the moment you ask, the reliable fallback is the Yemen country exit, and the free Yemen list shows the public pool measured live.

FAQ
Al Waqīr proxy questions, answered
Residential plans support city-level targeting, so you can request Al Waqīr specifically, or widen the same request to Al Mahwit Governorate without changing plans. What is live in any one city moves constantly, for every provider; the Yemen country exit is the request that never depends on one place.
To a site that reads only the country: no. Al Waqīr and Sanaa look identical there. To anything local, map results, stock, delivery estimates, the city is exactly the difference, and that is the one case worth paying the supply constraint for.
In Al Mahwit Governorate, Yemen, 60 km west of Sanaa. The local timezone is Aden time (Asia/Aden). It lies up at 1,864 m.
Then take Al Mahwit Governorate as a whole, or the Yemen country exit. Single-city supply is fluid in this whole industry, and we would rather hand you the wider fallback in one click than promise a specific street and miss.
