Buy Discord proxies. Rotate to make, stick to keep.
Discord treats the address as part of who you are. It links accounts that share one, so multi-account work, bots and ban recovery all come down to a clean address per account.

- Residential, sticky

- Mobile 4G and 5G
- The most durable for heavy automation and high-value accounts. Carrier addresses are shared by thousands of real subscribers.

- A fixed home for one long-lived account or one bot that logs in every day from the same place.
The app has no proxy setting, and voice is UDP
The Discord desktop app has no proxy field, so you route it from outside: Proxifier with a SOCKS5 rule for Discord.exe, Discord in a browser with the proxy set on that browser, or an antidetect browser with one proxy per profile. Bots set it in their library; discord.py and discord.js both accept one.
Text and the gateway run over WebSocket on TCP, which any proxy carries. Voice runs over UDP, so it only follows when the proxy relays UDP (SOCKS5 UDP association) or you use a full-tunnel VPN. Expect voice to drop the moment everything else starts working.
Rotate to make them, stick to keep them
A fresh address per signup keeps new accounts from sharing a network. After that, an account should log in from the same place every day: one that hops addresses or countries reads as compromised and gets a security check or a forced logout.
Discord sits behind Cloudflare and links accounts by shared IP, phone number and device fingerprint. A clean address fixes the loudest of those and nothing else, so pair one sticky address with one browser profile per account, and never move a fresh account onto the address a banned one used.

FAQ
Discord proxy questions, answered
What is the best proxy type for Discord?
Residential for creating and managing accounts. Mobile for heavy automation, since carrier addresses cannot be hard-banned. Static ISP for long-lived single accounts and bots. Keep raw datacenter away from anything with an account.
How many proxies do I need for Discord?
One clean, sticky address per account. Discord links accounts by shared IP, so several accounts on one address can go in a single ban. If you must share, keep it to a few warmed accounts.
Does the Discord app support proxies?
Not directly. Route it from outside: Proxifier with SOCKS5 for the desktop app, a browser with a proxy for one account, or an antidetect browser with one proxy per profile. Bots set it in discord.py or discord.js.
Does a proxy stop my Discord account from being banned?
It only changes the address. Discord also uses your device fingerprint and phone number, so a sticky address helps only together with a separate profile per account and normal behaviour.
Terms on this page, explained
The terms that decide how Discord treats your traffic.
Mobile proxy
A proxy that routes traffic through an IP address assigned by a mobile carrier to a phone or cellular modem, carrying the strongest trust of any proxy type.
Sticky session
A rotating-proxy feature that keeps you on the same exit IP for a set duration so a multi-step task can complete without the address changing underneath it.
Browser fingerprinting
Identifying a visitor from the combination of subtle browser and device traits, a layer of detection that survives changing your IP.
IP reputation
The accumulated trust score a site or third-party service assigns to an IP address based on its network, history and behaviour.
