Proxy2019 no longer answers. We re-checked it the day this page was written, over three routes, and nothing came back. The record of the years before that is below.
When the lights went out
Checked on 9 September 2026 over https, www and plain http, the domain returned nothing (ENOTFOUND). No holding page, no error from a working server, simply no answer.
The archive stops returning a real page after January 2019, having kept 1 of them. Crawls continued; the site did not.
The site, in its own words
The final good capture, January 2019, carried the title "Fresh Proxy Server Free Proxy Server Unblock Proxy Server Access Banned Websites". Above the fold it said "Proxy 2019". Its search snippet read: "www.proxy2018.ga, our proxy site allows you to browse over internet with no hesitate about other people knowing what you"
The company is describing itself there, preserved by a third party. It is the closest a reader gets to seeing what they signed up for. Marketing, not evidence of quality, but nobody can quietly revise it now.
What they sold
The archive first captured a working page in January 2019.
The public record holds that much. It shows a company that was real and shipping, and nothing about how well.
We stop short of a cause deliberately. The registration and archive trail shows when things stopped and nothing about why, and the difference between those two claims is the difference between a fact and a defamation.
