Nothing answered on 9 September 2026, the error being ENOTFOUND. Not a redirect, not a holding page. Silence.
Archive coverage stops at December 2018, after 3 good captures. The crawler kept visiting. There was nothing left to save.
The site, in its own words
The final good capture, December 2018, carried the title "Web Proxy Server Free Fresh Proxy Server Unblock Proxy Server Access Banned Websites". Above the fold it said "octoberproxy.ml Glype® proxy". Its search snippet read: "Web Proxy and Web proxy server are two terms used by midway net users. A proxy refers to a site, which can be use to blocked information. In extra words, without any restrictions, you can acquire access to any information over the internet with the use of proxy server websites."
The company is describing itself there, preserved by a third party. It is the closest a reader gets to seeing what they signed up for. Marketing, not evidence of quality, but nobody can quietly revise it now.

The public record holds that much. It shows a company that was real and shipping, and nothing about how well.

Choosing a replacement: weight the terms as heavily as the price. A balance that expires and a large minimum top-up are the two features that turn a shutdown into a real loss.
