Weighing up Rayobyte? What is actually published, what it does not tell you, and how to settle the decision on your own target for a few dollars.

Free proxies won't hold up here.

Shared datacenter IPs get flagged and dropped fast. When it has to hold, gaming, streaming, accounts, you need mobile and residential IPs that read as a real device, from $0.44/GB, pay as you go.

Residential proxies

The useful question is never whether Rayobyte is good. It is whether it fits the job you are about to run, on your target, this month. A proxy provider that suits one workload is wrong for the next one.

What Rayobyte advertises

Read from their own public pricing pages on 10 August 2026, and stated as advertised rather than as verified by us:

  • Datacenter: from $2 per IP with no commitment, falling to $1 per IP on semi-dedicated (shared) IP, billed monthly.
  • Datacenter: from $0.30 per GB on none (Starter tier, 1-50 GB) - rotating datacenter product.
  • ISP: from $5 per IP with no commitment, falling to $4.60 per IP on 1,000 IPs (Corporate tier, 1,000-4,999 IPs).
  • ISP: from $3.75 per GB on none (Starter tier, up to 15 GB) - rotating ISP product.
  • Mobile: from $1.25 per GB with no commitment, falling to $0.50 per GB on 5 TB+ (5,000 GB+) per month, Enterprise tier, contact sales.
  • Residential: from $3.50 per GB with no commitment, falling to $0.50 per GB on Enterprise band, 5,000+ GB per month.
  • Scraping API: from $6 per GB with no commitment, falling to $2.50 per GB on 501 GB (Corporate tier, 501 GB - 1 TB) - Web Unblocker product.

Every one of those is a published rate rather than a measured outcome. That is not a criticism of Rayobyte: our own page is built from the same material. It is the reason the rest of this comparison is about what published rates leave out.

Their own description, read this week

On 9 September 2026 the site introduced itself as "Rayobyte - Best Destination to Gather Public Web Data Ethically". The one-paragraph pitch on their own page: "Rayobyte is an all-in-one public web data gathering platform helping its partners reach their vision by delivering mission-critical data in the fastest possible time."

What else that page states, without interpretation:

The product lines named on that page are residential, datacenter, ISP or static residential, mobile and a scraping or SERP API. The page offers some form of free trial. Their pricing page is titled "Rayobyte Proxy Pricing, Reliable, Affordable Products".

All of the above is their copy, not our finding. A dated quotation is the weakest kind of evidence that is still evidence.

How long Rayobyte has been trading

The domain was registered on 11 January 2022, through NameCheap, Inc, which makes it about 4 years old. We pulled that from the registry on 23 April 2026. The Internet Archive holds 20 snapshots of the site, the earliest from July 2022. The current registration term ends 11 January 2027.

None of it predicts success rate. It is here because domain age and archive depth are free to check, and a provider whose public record starts last quarter deserves a smaller first order.

Corporate history we have recorded: Was Blazing SEO until 2022; Founded 2015 by Neil Emeigh, US-registered in Lincoln, Nebraska; Sits under holding company Sprious; Ethical sourcing is included in the base price rather than sold as a premium.

Their published surface

We crawled 911 pages of their site on 18 June 2026 and found 682 blog pages and 1 pricing page.

Site size is a signal about marketing budget rather than network quality, and the two are frequently unrelated. It is useful for a different reason: a provider with many pricing pages is usually segmenting hard, and a provider with none is selling by quotation.

How active Rayobyte still is

Our crawl of their site found 911 pages carrying a date, 682 of them articles. The oldest is from June 2022 and the newest from August 2026. 533 of them carry a date inside the last twelve months.

Timestamps are not quality, and a company still publishing is at least a company still trading. That is worth more than it sounds in a market where providers disappear without notice.

What the search data says about Rayobyte

Worldwide, the brand carries about 20 searches a month: 10 a month for their pricing and 10 a month for a review of them. Figures read from Google Keyword Planner on 9 September 2026.

The largest share is people trying to work out what it costs, which is the honest starting point for a page like this one.

What a pricing page leaves out

Shared or dedicated changes everything

An address you share carries the reputation of everyone else on it. That is acceptable for some work and fatal for anything involving a login. The price difference between shared and dedicated usually reflects exactly this.

Who pays for the requests that fail

On a hard target, failures are the majority of your traffic. Whether those failures are billed decides the real cost, and the clause covering it is rarely on the pricing page.

The limit that stops the job

Rate limits are often enforced per account rather than per plan, which means buying more traffic does not raise them. Confirm how yours scales before you assume a bigger plan runs faster.

The rows that decide it

Compare on these rows and ignore the feature lists on both sites:

What to do instead of reading more comparisons

The steps below take about ten minutes and settle the question properly.

  1. Put a few dollars on each account. Trials are fine for a first look, but paid traffic is what you will actually be buying.
  2. Run them against the site you actually care about, using the code you actually run, within the same hour.
  3. Track the success rate and the bandwidth. A cheap gigabyte that fails half the time is not cheap.
  4. Run a sample of the addresses through an independent lookup, because advertised geography and actual geography differ more often than the market admits.
  5. Keep the winner, and repeat the whole thing quarterly, because pools age.

Comparable providers

We hold the same record for these, and the same honest limits apply to each:

What we sell, stated plainly

If you want our side of it: $0.44 per GB for residential, pay as you go, nothing expires, and the free tools stay free. We would rather you measured than believed us, which is why the test comes before this paragraph rather than after it.

Frequently asked questions

Why look for a Rayobyte alternative at all?
The usual reasons any buyer compares two providers: the pricing model stopped fitting the usage pattern, a target started blocking, a specific country underperformed, a balance expired, or support went quiet. None of those is visible from a marketing page, which is why a small paid test on your own target settles it faster than any review.
What does Rayobyte advertise?
Read from their own published pricing on 10 August 2026: Datacenter: from $2 per IP with no commitment, falling to $1 per IP on semi-dedicated (shared) IP, billed monthly. Datacenter: from $0.30 per GB on none (Starter tier, 1-50 GB) - rotating datacenter product. ISP: from $5 per IP with no commitment, falling to $4.60 per IP on 1,000 IPs (Corporate tier, 1,000-4,999 IPs). ISP: from $3.75 per GB on none (Starter tier, up to 15 GB) - rotating ISP product. Mobile: from $1.25 per GB with no commitment, falling to $0.50 per GB on 5 TB+ (5,000 GB+) per month, Enterprise tier, contact sales. Residential: from $3.50 per GB with no commitment, falling to $0.50 per GB on Enterprise band, 5,000+ GB per month. Scraping API: from $6 per GB with no commitment, falling to $2.50 per GB on 501 GB (Corporate tier, 501 GB - 1 TB) - Web Unblocker product. Advertised is the operative word, and prices move, so treat the date as part of the number.
How do I compare two providers fairly?
Match the units first, because residential is billed per gigabyte, datacenter and ISP per address, and mobile per day or per port. Then compare the rate you can actually reach today rather than the volume tier behind a commitment. Finish by measuring the success rate on your own target, since a cheap request that fails costs more than a dearer one that works.
Is a cheaper provider usually worse?
Not reliably. Price in this market reflects the supply model and the sales overhead as much as the network. What price does not tell you is the success rate on your target, and that is the figure that decides whether the cheaper option was cheap or expensive. Measure before assuming either way.
Does a bigger pool mean better results?
No. Your job meets only the exits it draws, in the countries it needs, against one target's defences. Freshness and rotation policy move the outcome far more than the headline total, and pool totals across this market are counted generously and rarely audited.

Proxies that don't die mid-job

Residential, ISP, datacenter and mobile, verified by the same engine that runs tens of millions of checks. They read as a real device and hold up under load. Pay as you go, and your balance never expires. $0.44/GB is the 2,000 GB+ rate; a single gigabyte is $0.50/GB, with no minimum order.
